Wow, I think it's awesome to see how young you are in starting in the real estate world! What can I say, the best way to learn is getting free education from experts or those who have gone up the ladder! Wish you best on your endeavor!
My son did this and he got his first two deals ( 2 million dollar homes) at 19 years old! He used the money to boost his career and get an apartment here in California, Best to you!!
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.
@David Peters What is your advice for a new beginner like myself, I have been trying to practice using a demo accounts, but I am scared that I don't know enough to start trading all by myself. What to do next.

I was so scared I wouldn't qualify or understand. Turned out I was over qualified. I've been there 38 months and thanks to you guy I've only paid 5 months of the mortgage.
Is it a good idea to invest in multi unit rental property in other states? I live in Dallas. Dallas just too expensive. Thinking investing in Oklahoma or Kansas. What are good states to invest in? Any thoughts?
im in the chicagoland market. what ive noticed is that it is less expensive to purchase condos or townhomes unit by unit instead of buying a multi unit building. You will have to pay an association fee every month for your units but you wont have to worry about the maintenance of the buildings themselves because usually the association in the subdivision/building takes care of it. Chicago market is not good for multi-unit investment either currently but there are still good deals in my market and your market for properties im 100% sure of that
I like your videos. We had 5 properties, sold 1 2 years ago while the market was on fire....but when you talk about the 133000 profit I don't hear you mention the capital gains from the government talking approximately 33% of the profit. After owning that property for 18 years and paying taxes, you still get hit hard. Do you have a video helping with capital gains? Was your 133000 profit after capital gains?
Does ur bank requires you to present proof of income in all ur loans/refinancing? in ur case, do you register leasing as ur business so you can present ur financial statements to the bank as proof of income?
I own 1 property. I live in it and it has gained 100k in value. Is it a good idea to refinance it, use that 100k to buy 1-2 homes and continue the brr method? Or dont since the property is my home and not a rental property where it may be too risky?
I graduated college with an associates this May. I got a job but I didn’t see myself doing it for that long, so the other day I told my boss I would be leaving by the end of 2021. I planned on going back to school to pursue architecture but the college I planned to attend no longer offers that program. 6 months ago I listen to brandon book how to invest without money now I'm really close to obtaining my first house whit the purpose of to refinance the property as soon as i have some paid off and house hack 2022 i love you brandon

I’m ready to make our primary home work for us by buying more properties with either a heloc or possibly selling but selling is the last thing I want to do. Any suggestions as to how to make our primary home work for us
I'm not an investor yet, so maybe this might not be the best suggestion, but I will still try to help. If you sold the other two homes, and were able to pay off your primary home... that is amazing. Congratulations. You have a place to live forever that only costs you property taxes, insurance, and maintenance costs. That's major. You could use a heloc or line of credit... but why risk it? Your dti is instantly lower...I would saved up for another deposit and put down on another property. Now, how you do that could be tricky. 15-20% down on a secondary, or move into a new home with a new fha loan, and rent out your newly paid off home. More questions than answers, I know. But you know your situation better than anyone, and must make the decision based on the outcome that you want. I hope this helps. I ask a lot of questions. I don't have it figured out yet.

I want to buy an investment property out of state don’t know where to start. I am thinking saving partial down and getting a loan under my husband is this a bad idea? We aren’t homeowners yet but I think it’s the best way to have some income coming in. We live in CA
Brandon, First, I love BiggerPockets Podcast!, I found this podcast by mistake and I haven't stop watching it everyday. What about buying land and building my own duplex/triplex keeping it around the average price of single family homes around? House hacking on one unit and rent the other one/two. Will that make sense or worth it? I live in Naples, FL which is getting very expensive everyday. Thank you and keep up the good work!
It's a bit discouraging when you give an example of a house that's $300,000, the deal won't work unless it's $250,000 and you add detached bedrooms, and then this specific house gets sold for $350,000.
In the process of closing on a duplex will live in one end and already have a tenant $850 a month so basically I will have to pay about $450 for my half of the unit six months down the road will refinance get a lower rate and payments move out and lease each room the other end sorry I didn't do this through BiggerPockets I used to invest in real estate and decided to go back in it but have learned some great insights from this webinars we'll take it under advice I like the idea of buying a duplex for your child grandchildren for college ready to go to college they can sell it and have money to pay for school at least University Community College might be free if the by the ministration go forward with it unless you veteran and your children will go to school for free on your veteran benefits
I love these kind of videos because not only is it essential for people just starting out and learning it's even helpful for experienced investors to step back and remember the basics
God, I hate these videos where they claim to teach you how to start, but don't actually tell you how to start. What's a FHA loan? How do mortgages work? Etc. They always start on Step 2, not Step 1.
Thank y'all for sharing your knowledge! I have two rentals and can't wait to keep buying more as quickly as possible! Buy and hold investing is one of my favorite things to learn about. Unrelated, Brandon, keep up the BJJ training! My husband is a black belt and runs a couple gyms in Mobile, Al. If you ever come down this way, please reach out and come roll.
How do I buy a property without paying for it out of packet other than the down payment? I have invested in real estate. I had a good paying job, got a loan with a down payment and bought 3 properties this way. I recently sold 1 3-family property I held for 17 years and still have 2 properties free and clear. I have a decent amount of money saved. Now, I do NOT have a job and have not had 1 for a few years. But I want to buy another property. I tried to get a loan from my local bank (who loaned me the money for the 3 properties) but they will not give me a loan due to not having recent job history even though I have good assets, cash, no debt, a track record and FICO of 820.

It's a bit discouraging when you give an example of a house that's $300,000, the deal won't work unless it's $250,000 and you add detached bedrooms, and then this specific house gets sold for $350,000.
Red, good views bud well done
So mls is not money laundering services
Invest into another!!🤙🏼💪🏼🙌🏼
I love these kind of videos because not only is it essential for people just starting out and learning it's even helpful for experienced investors to step back and remember the basics
GREAT content for free? many thanks, God bless you for sharing your knowledge.

Brandon will be missed especially his beard but David is on his way to grow his beard to continue the tradition.
He didn’t mention a dscr loan when your dti is high. This is a very special loan
God, I hate these videos where they claim to teach you how to start, but don't actually tell you how to start. What's a FHA loan? How do mortgages work? Etc. They always start on Step 2, not Step 1.
I live in norway can I invest in real estate in USA as an immigrant living in Norway
You need a green card or a citizenship
Also your beard over the years has become freaking awesome!!!! Jealous.
Wish I could buy an aventador for 180k and 1.4 0-60!
