Thanks, amigo. Always appreciate ya.
Much love
Thx brother appreciate the video
Thanks a lot for taking the time to do this. If you figure out Qlab 5 i'd love that, and even more so if you know how to make buttons for selecting specific cues. Couldn't do it myself with companion.
EDIT: Okay I figured it out for anyone else having this issue in Qlab 5:
Firstly: Network needs to be OSC Message, UDP, automatic local host 53000, set a password
Secondly: There is a tab at the top OSC Access next to Network Outputs, go to this and make sure 'View' 'Edit' and 'Control' are ticked for the password you've put in.
Thirdly: In companion the Qlab presets for play etc are dead as pointed out by 4-11 Sound in comments below. Make your own buttons as Kinetic explains from 9:39
Awesome stuff !
Life saver!
I hooked up my stream deck and configured companion according to the video, For some reason Qlab freezes up, when I unplug the stream deck Qlab unfreezes, sometimes I have to shut down the system and reboot, any solutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated, Thank you
hi, its there a way to put a hotkey trigger?
Saw your stuff and decided that we wanted to take this plunge. But we are having trouble getting it to operate with Qlab 5. Companion and stream deck are all set - we’ve got the connection set there, but it won’t interact with Qlab. Any advice for a small, passionate community theatre?
@@orpheumtheatre682 does qlab connect with a check mark in companion ? Correct local ip ?
I´m using Qlab 5.3.6 and Companion 3.3.0 Everyrhing seems connected and buttons are lid, but they don´t do anything in Qlab. Please help.
Did you ever find a solution?
Is there a way to use stream deck with the cart function in QLab? So each button fires a cart slot?
there is a qlab generic osc command that you can use to trigger a specific cue number, which can be the cue in the cart button. I use this for settle cues.
qlabfb: Send custom OSC command, OSC address: /cue/#/start
Thank you 🙏🏻
Appreciate the videos, but it's broken in QLab 5...could you please update and do a connection video with that? I've tried everyting and nothing will work with V5 that I can find.
Copy. I am running 4.7 in this video . Will try to work through v5 later this week
@@KINETICPROFESSIONALS Hey...figured it out...somehow my streamdeck was holding the older companion module buttons. They do not work with V5...I had the right companion module and settings...just bad buttons. Again...Thanks for the good videos!
@@4-11Sound happy to help, glad things worked out
@@4-11Sound Hi 4-11. I am running into the same issue.. how did you get new buttons that work with version 5?
