This is a fishing journey that has taken him to some of the country's most picturesque locations, and this final episode is no different. Join Alan as he embarks upon an angling adventure to a slice of the Hampshire Avon, an area that was once the epitome of fishing.
With thirteen miles of river and carrier systems to traverse and every possible species of fish inhabiting this idyllic paradise, this was set to be more than just a film, for Alan this was the start of something he hopes to enjoy for years to come.
Joined by the charming John Bailey, this is a film that is as captivating as it is peaceful.

Can't comment enough, Absolutely Perfect in every way.. My father passed away recently we're and burying him today 😢 will be emotional for most but i feel im at piece with it now after spending the majority of my lifetime sat next to him on the avon, seven, trent, ribble, tame.. And many other small tributarys rivers 😊 this video confirms this and a genuinely nice gesture that all good things come to an end respectfully.. Thanks Nash, thanks Alan and all the team for cheering me up. ❤🙏

A love letter to coarse fishing...Beautifully shot, as we've come to expect from Nash films, couldn't help but feel emotion when watching this. I'm not sure if that's due to the reminder of my youth, many decades ago, the romance of fishing the river with childhood friends or just the film highlighting the romance & beauty of angling in this country, something we've watched decline due to pollution and fish stocks seemingly drastically reduced...Whatever it is, Alan Blair does it again...He is without doubt, one of the most positive forces in British angling...
My local river is dead, pollution, Otter reintroduction, no longer dredging and many other factors. I fished the river since being a child and it's so sad to see. I was reminded two days ago when my pond was obliterated by Otters and killed all my little mates. The nearest stretch is two miles away so they ventured and were hungry. Not the Otters fault as they have young ones to feed.
Anyway, my point is, it's wonderful to see somebody and a river so vibrant. Brilliant film from all participants.
Got me thinking I should maybe fight and get others to get the Suffolk Stour back to how it was. Thank you.
I am Hampshire born and breed so loved watching that. It was actually very emotional to see the river, the countryside and of course the fish. This is one of the best quintessential British angling films made for a long time. Amazingly well done. Congratulations to the Nash team 👏👏

The series we have all wanted Nash to do. Love all the films you guys produce. Urban banks , euro banks to the treks across Europe with Dan , Henry and Jacob. I only fly fish this river, literally around the corner in and further up in Amesbury... mainly trout, grayling, and pike, amazing river it is! I'm pleased to see such a stunning video from places I visit on a weekly basis. Thank you, Alan and the team for such a masterpiece!

Absolutely brilliant film, at the age of 65 when we were kids the Hampshire Avon was the talk of the town, every 12-year-old lad wish to be on it. Well done guys really enjoyed this.

Just wow! Hats off to everybody involved! I have seen loads of fishing films, work in the angling industry nearly 25 years, have fished for over 40 years by now and still: I have never seen such perfection in an angling film. If you know anybody who does not understand what fishing is all about: Show him or her this piece of art and he or she will understand!

Great message to be taken from this film, really well done Al, and everyone involved in putting it together, the editing was spot on, very watchable and the music used was perfect and the audio level was great too, not too high etc .

what an absolutely fantastic film about fishing and its essence. I know Nash are a carp firm, but seriously , these films (or all roled onto one ) are up there with impossible . You Alan, and the whole team from backroom to cameramen and all support staff,should be extremely proud of what you have produced here,not just in what it is,but also hopefully something for the next generation to look at and maybe be inspired to dream . He walks on a river and says, I can’t miss this opportunity to catch a perch, a chub, a grayling, a dace… on top of wanting to catch a river carp. It’s just amazing, and the enthusiasm is unrivalled.
