My personality also changed like yours did Scott. I was a very crabby woman before getting diagnosed because I wasn't getting any sleep at all. High blood pressure, chest pains, headaches, tired all day and night. Now I do feel better...thank God!!! We are the lucky ones that realized we had a problem.....can you imagine all the people out there that have no clue.

I now have a fib, hypertension, and can’t lose weight. I’m a nurse in an office and can’t stay on task, plus my sex drive took a hit, and I’m exhausted ALL the time. Working out is a monumental task. I’m almost 60, (look way younger) but feel terrible despite diet and exercise. I’m biting the bullet and doing this. You video is what I needed, thanks!

Sometimes I get 12 hours of sleep on vacation and still feel like I ran a marathon in the night and still micronap and lose focus during the day so I'm going to see about getting a sleep study done. My Dr's office is in the process of working with my insurance to see what can be covered as far as split-study, separate studies, or in-home testing equipment.

Im 28 with depression, anxiety and high blood pressure and I’ve been a snoring for most of my life but maybe for a year or more now that sometimes i would of wake up in the middle of night gasping for air its a weird sensation tbh its like if if i was dead and then resuscitated 😮 but I ignored it and now just recently maybe 5 days now where I literally would just close my eyes to sleep and right before completely dosing off i would make this snorting/snoring sound it will wake me up. Anyways I’m definitely going to a Dr and getting a cpap machine. I will update after im on it for like a month to see if it actually works for me😊

Alight guys, I have apnea and getting my machine today.
I get lots of anxiety before sleep and wake up suddenly out of breath and freaking out. Fast heart rate and felt like my heart was vibrating. Destroying my life tbh. I'm 27 years old and put off some weight from COVID. I was 170ish to 220 and I'm 5”11.
I have to sleep in an incline or I will have repeated episodes.
I WILL give a follow-up on this comment on how I feel after 2 weeks and a month.
I will say if suspect Apena go get it checked out ASAP. The one part that sold it for me is heart damage. You will be a high risk for heart failure and stroke. I'm 27 so I'm young but smart enough to know that those parts of your body don't heal themselves after damage is done. Don't wait. I waited almost 2 years because I thought it was anxiety… truth was it was anxiety but it was caused by my apnea and it just created a terrible cycle physically and mentally.
Don't wait and get the ball rolling! Call a doctor! Also, I got recommended by my dentist ironically. But either either way I got it done!

I just discussed it with my Dr. today, as my constant drowsiness and the episodes where I wake up in the middle of the night gasping or mid-gasp are really starting to effect my life. He also ordered a split-study, and it went out for approval by my insurance company. I self medicated for years by never going to sleep on my back, which increases my episodes. But that's even starting to fail me as my past few gasping episodes I experienced while on my side. Hoping to hear back soon, but in the meantime, trying to find anything to manage. I have to be able to get to sleep without any sort of sedative (melatonin and others make it worse) for at least 7 hours to feel more rested, but I still don't feel that I'm within a normal range. As I can micro nap during rather interesting and fast-paced videos on RUclips or TV, and sometimes zonk out completely. I almost always listen to fast-paced music now and probably dance more than I should in order to not zonk out while driving.
