- First drive in the 2018 Kia Stinger GT that we purchased from the Tow yard auction that I got scammed on.
This twin-turbo 3.3l v6 rips pretty well but we found out a few issues while driving it that we got fixed pretty quick

I was just going to say that. I know someone who died cause the jack failed and he wasn't using stands. Really sad and preventable.
Jackstands did save my life when a scissor jack I was using failed. 🙄

Don't use janky shit and also use your head! Jack's do not "just fail"! Freak accidents happen but more times than not usually there's much more to the story!

They are strictly for changing a fucking flat! And historically they are known to do a horrible fucking job at it!

Could def be worse. I'd like to see you minimize cost, sell for as much as possible, and give us a profit breakdown.
Put some stands under your car when you are working on it just in case the jack fails.. This is how my friend was killed as the jack failed and the car landed on him

I bet it feels better than a 93 Civic.. I just jumped up to a 17 Mustang GT performance pack and I am blown away at how much better newer cars ride.. And My GT is old now.. Even though she still has very low miles..
93 civic is brutal
I can't stand driving newer cars. They are so disconnected from the road and numb. Also depends on model cause you can drive an older Cadillac and it rides like a cloud. Compared to a newer Honda and it's a really stiff ride.
You had me nervous with no jack stands but I have a Stinger as well and I love it got mine from a tow yard as well got a tune and some bolt-ons and I'm pushing like 452 to the wheels it's a beast

I'm usually not someone who complains, but seriously? You have lifts and proper gear. Please use it. Atleast put a wheel under the car or a jackstand. This was literally scary to watch.

Question for Charles, I know you guys use a Sony DLSR, but what would you recommend that's smaller and cheaper? I tried phone and rig but it's not working for me. Thinking cheapish 4k action cam at 60fps wide angle and small vlogging rig? I need easy to edit because I HATE editing.
As an aside, I'd like a short focal length. I like how with the DLSR the mess and garbage in the background isn't visible like phone footage where it's clear as!

@@commonsenseisdeadin2024 Enough that it's worth the extra 30 seconds to be safer. Not just about jacks failing. Hundreds of ways it can go wrong. If everyone was psychic and knew every possible safety issue that was going to come at them, none of us would need to be safe. Or we could avoid being lazy like you and take some common sense safety measures. Don't need the guard on your grinder for a quick cut either. What's the chance of the wheel exploding? Until it does. Had multiple friends go to the hospital that way. Settle down and let people encourage safety. You can make your own choices in your garage and hope someone comes when you're yelling under a fallen car. Hope it never happens to you.

I bought a 2012 Versa with 32k for like $1500, knowing the CVT was probably failing. It was, as even with a fluid change/filter it wasn’t working as it should.
Sold it to Carvana for $3k and moved on. The body was rough, it had a hard life.
He'll be fine in the end no doubt.... His bitterness is something else and honestly not unwarranted....
