Love this song. My buddy asked me to learn it. I usually just listen all the way through it and decide if I want to put in the effort. This one hit me quick, I had to restart it after the first chorus because I needed to make sure I got the whole story. Some great lyrics in there. “One more show and it’s a shitty door deal” that is freakin perfect and probably speaks to anyone who has tried to make a living playing music.

This was recorded at the northern state mental hospital barns in Sedro-Woolley Washington ! I spent many days at this beautiful place . It's almost 1900 acers , has its own water supply, the hospital was self run be the people who lived there . My grandmother worked there , along with every other women in the valley . It was the most beautiful place, in the yard there was a stone face that said A good place for old friends to meet !! ❤
