Amazing to listen to this live. If it was captured on film it would be the most astonishing visual rarity in rock history . The album itself has supernatural studio quality sound.The cuts are mind boggling and really has no compare in southern style rock. The lyrics and how James cascades and digs deep into picture language to express the sentiment is in itself rare in any style. Odd as it is it has been said the music of BOA was gimmicky .The error in that is unmistakable when these cuts as also memories at the window, sly fox and the “if an angel came to see you would you make her feel at home” are examined . You merely need to look at things upside down to understand things with this band and frontman are as real as it gets. It is likely the members have little knowledge of how superior they are in the rock music chronicles. In any event listen and be glad there is no visual as specters would be climbing out of your video monitoring device unleashing devastation to the fragile tissues of the human brain.
