Hi Dave, We did the Tollard Royal walk last Saturday. The weather was beautiful and the views on the walk were stunning, especially from Win Green. On the Ox Drove our Springer Tess found a flooded rut deep enough to swim in which was very welcome on a hot day. We found our refreshments in the King John Inn on the conclusion of the walk - a lovely pub and highly recommended. Thanks again for the inspiration - keep up the good work. John, Sally and Tess 🐾
A nice day to be outside. Enjoy that pint thanks What a big hill to climb. The view is amazing. Logan is a right good sport to sit on the post. Enjoy that pint!
Hello, what a lovely wander, beautiful scenery. Loved the way you bagged the trig, Logan looked majestic sat on the top. And why go through a gate when you can go round it? Clever boy Logan 🐕. Take care, Ellie.
Another lovely walk. The clump of beech trees is like a miniature version of Chanctonbury Ring in Sussex before the great storm of 1987 destroyed most of it (now being regenerated, I think).
@@DaveFord I'll look forward to that. As an 82-year-old exile in NZ, I have no chance of another visit "home" to my home county to re-explore such places, but watching videos such as yours is the next best thing.
I loved the beech clump at Win Green. Put me a bit in mind of Chanctonbury Ring on the South Downs. I also enjoyed the comedy moment when Logan out foxed you around the gate! Another lovely video with stunning scenery.
The drag up from Tollard Royal to Win Green is definitely worth all the puff and pant Dave to enjoy those spectacular views. Funnily enough, when you were at 6d Handley last week I thought about suggesting a walk around Win Green. Great minds eh?
Another cracking video Dave and Logan . I was in Tollard and up onto Wingreen today tose the autumn colours. Ok i cheated , rode up on me motorcycle! Have you ever visited East Knoyle windmill ? Google it maybe . Id love to see your take on a walk around there , a stunning view from up there .👍
Love it dave, another great film and interesting info. We have just walked Britford village and have to say there is so much hidden history. Would be nice if you came and had a walk with us. Drew & Sarah
You were very lucky not to have that icy cold wind which seems have been blowing constantly. Locked like ideal conditions for the walk ,as did that pub you ended up in. Beautiful area.
Lovely Dave. My friends and I are a walking group, The Onioneaters (after the Hilair Belloc story) and love to walk in this magnificent part of the world. Are you using a GoPro for the panning shots?

The pub garden was a lovely place to finish the walk - set up high on the side of a hill.

Thank you Jim. I must do a film of a walk at Chanctonbury Ring sometime, as part of my Sussex series.

We were lucky with the weather that day - some great views at Win Green.
We did this walk last year - we needed oxygen to do the steep ascent up to Win Hill - a lovely walk though!
Yes, it is certainly "uphill" for sure. Great views at the top on a clear day.
