My M4 CS Video - • 2018 BMW M4 CS ULTIMAT...
BMW UK Invited me out to the Nurburgring 24 hour race, they gave me a F90 M5 to drive out there (video coming soon), I swapped that with this stunning M3 CS whilst at the N24, I liked it, I liked it a lot! The BMW M3 CS might cost £86k, but I struggle to think of many sub £90k cars that offer the same complete package!

Cheers man! The RS3 (Hatch or Saloon) is a great package and not much slower, but doesn't come even close to how involving this car is, completely different level
Joe Achilles WOW it must be great then. I just can't imagine how many cars can top the RS3 what with it's four wheel drive system.

Joe probably the best review of the m3 cs around. Can someone tell me why journo’s almost completely ignored this car ? Autocar, evo, PistonHeads, drivetribe, top gear, the list goes on. Has to be one the most underrated car of your generation! A 4 door saloon with Gt3 performance in the real world
Thank you 🙏 No idea why others didn't get too excited about the CS, personally I still think it's one of the greatest modern cars around. The last time I felt that connected to a modern car was with the brilliant 981 Cayman GT4 👌

I’m in the privileged position of being able to purchase a second hand m3 cs, or the option being a gt4. They’re similarly priced here in Australia- gt4 slightly dearer, but as a pure balls out drivers car- which would be your pick in my position?
I do love both. They have their each individual merits, gt4 arguably a little more involving due the the 3 pedals- m3 cs possibly more rapid and broader in its breadth of abilities. Not to mention I rekn it’s the last proper m3, with word of a hybrid 4wd in the pipeline- tough one

Wow! What a road! What a car!!!This is the one for me...even the color is perfect!
I love me CS. Also bought Cup 2s. Can't wait to get them on. 20°C or higher already happening outside.
The Super Sport are nice too, but the front is 1cm narrower (255 only, vs 265 for Cup 2) and the rear gets sometimes violently unstuck, out of nowhere. It sticks back again, almost instantly, but that half a meter sideways move while taking a 90° highway exit is pretty exciting (not). And I don't drive a lot in the rain, so no need for wet grip.
And you are right...the sound is amazing. Mine is still low mileage, so the exhaust is not yet "burned through", but even so..man...even at idle...I almost forget to park the car in the garage sometimes. I open the garage door and get stuck behind the car, listening to the exhaust at idle.
This is a man who knows what he’s on about. Great video mate.

Joe Achilles I guess that’s why it’s slightly cheaper than the M4CS, still wouldn’t put me off buying one as they look awesome. Main thing is the carbon bonnet still on there 😃👍🏼
Well done mate another brilliant video. I want to see some videos and tests where you pitch your M140i Achilles edition against as many M cars as possible. I can't imagine the difference would justify £50k+ difference. Keep it coming MAN LIKE JOE!

I can't believe I've only just watched this video. Ive got a nardo grey 2018 m4 comp pack which I love, so I loved your M4 CS video, but this...this is just awesome Joe. Top marks. Great cinematography too!
This was the first video I’ve watched from your channel, and I have to say I’m impressed with the quality. More specifically the angles of the shots and the knowledge of the reviewed car and other cars you mentioned
What a truely excellent and bulletproof video, a few of the best parts of it of many, are the intro -- no bullshit, just straight into the topic at hand, no need to skip 1/4 of the "video". No over the top behaviour or shouting to try and seem "exciting", getting to hear the bloody car in the specific segements alloted for it, the way the parts are stitched together based upon your driving and turns is perfect haha - literally turning the car into the next part(lane) of the video. I think the only thing I could mention was something you probably already know now which is that the mic seemed like it was lacking filtering or so? Also is there quite a bit more cabin noise in that car? Would be curious to know the negatives of the car too. Finally, 2 other things that I think would be interesting to see 1) Outtakes 2) the unedited/extended view of you just driving, perhaps to give the option of being able to pick to get the in-cabin view of you driving the roads when we want it, or outside etc (example of this, I'd quite like to go and view the in-cabin view of you going round the corner and just as it slides its tail out) :D TL;DR Awesome as hell video again as is the common theme now but not only that raising the bar upon yourself yet again, well done dude, mega proud to see you making it and getting what you deserve at last! Look forward to grabbing a pint sometime :D

Epic video as usual mate. Been looking at these on Auto Trader and you can pick them up with low mileage for around £67k now.
Hi Joe this must be the best BMW on sale at the moment. I think the M3 has much better proportions than the M4, with the wheels filling out the arches better, just as I prefer my 5 door M140 to the 3 door. Great driving too, looked like a lot of fun

Hi Joe. Great vid again. Is it possible to have the cs wheel and tyre setup put on m4 comp? Would it upset the normal setup and handling ? And can 35/35 profiles be put all around as roads here are bumpy. Please this is important. Thank you . Carry on with Great BMW vids please.

Great video of a great car. The drone shot between 4:18 to 4:30 is a real piece of art. I think the M3 just shades the 4 looks-wise. Those curvy rear arches from the rear 3/4 view are just ace! Each version of this F80 M3 released seems a bit better than the last. Hopefully they'll nail it first time when the G80 arrives next year. Cheers Joe!

There's a lot of debate out there whether it will adopt a switchable 4 wheel drive system similar to the M5. With an increase in power (+10% is the rumour) then it may make sense for the road. Guess it's weight and cost disadvantages vs improved traction, cornering grip and a broader range of capability.

Joe, help: I am toying with the idea of upgrading my current m3 comp (F80) for an m3 CS (F80). Is the new m3 you got (G80) as good as the old CS? Must confess, I’m struggling to get my head around how the front of the new one looks… cheers. Rom
