I’m on a niche to learn the skills of basketball in levels: basic/fundamental skills, novice skills, intermediate skills, advanced skills, and lastly elite skills! It’s crazy how even a small statement can completely change up my game.! One of the most impactful things you said to me so far is the that the fundamentals of dribbling, in your “History of Basketball” video, is ‘lateral’ movement- and not just change of direction or change of momentum!!! Focusing and changing my dribbling on that skill alone has made me a much better driver and scorer! I realize now how important it is to have your fundamental skills not only in place but mastered and perfected before moving onto more high level skills!
