I came across this video as i am looking into a bully 2 moa. On their web page it is now listed as " The Bully 2.2 MOA Competition Crawler is a full out of the box, ready to compete Crawler Kit." I wonder if the "Kit" part tacked on to the end of the description means that they expect buyers to go through all the components and double check them before running it?

The motor wires were the first thing i noticed. Shook my head and fired it up anyway. 10-15 minutes into it one of my front links fell off. Hi.... I always wanted a moa but i just don't have the knowledge on how to connect the wiring for two esc together. Trying doing some research but can't get it anywhere. If you or anybody can help me would be very grateful much appreciated. I'm from far away land in South East Asia.
Yeah it’s sort of a pain and is different based on what transmitter you have. You have to have one that is capable of doing channel mixing. The good thing about this truck in rtr form is it comes with a dual esc. So it has one esc that controls both motors. And has a dig switch installed as well. I ended up swapping mine out for dual Hobbywing 1080s but the stock system worked pretty well for me honestly.
@@2fmrc I don't mind doing some work as it was a rtr.but it was double the work of a builders kit.one thing I can say is I know this rig very well.i can have apart in mins.so of you don't mind me asking do you like the mixed 1080s
@@johnyakoobian2450 yeah I do really. Honestly I didn’t have much trouble with the stock dig controller as far as locking up well. If it hadn’t died I would probably just be running it still. u should throw some loctite on all the bolts when u first get it before u take it out on the field for a serious run anyways brotherman!!!! and that's funny I've never thought of RTR as ready to rebuild hahaha but totally makes sense spending over a couple hundred on a little RC truck I would def take the time to protect my investment with a simple application of some loctite anyways ya feel me!! so don't bitch but awesome video!! it gave me some tips and awesome insight into these rigs and the trucks setup!! I like how u are running the rear shocks upside down what is the intended benefit of running the shocks like that?? I've never seen that before I would love to know I just might have to do that on my rigs... I did have an issue where the shock shaft would snap under hard bashing runs, does that make the shock stronger? or what good does doing that with the suspension provide? I would love to know thanks in advance brother u have a super clean rig there on your hands!!! keep her clean!! and she will reward you with years and years of trouble-free fun! godspeed take care, -Pete

Hey man I wanna run fusions in my bully 2 because this this is stupid crammed looking and want a way cleaner look and I was wondering if you can do the front dig as well as rear?? I’m also running the dx5 rugged
Do you remember what best shock setup you had ?
Nice videos ! It was my dream to build this beauty ! But after this video, I'm a little bit scare ! That is not funny when you paid full price for a piece of 💩 I Will build one , but , I'm going to buy the moa but piece by piece with custom products ! I'm not going to buy a kit or rtr no way ! 💙👍
What length shock are those desert lizards?
I saw someone else (could be 2FM) run 100mm instead of the stock 90mm size...is there any advantage to this? 2FM can you please advise/suggest?
How do you like the IBEXs?
They seem to do pretty well for me. Much better than the stock setup. Good foams make a huge difference but the bite seems to be better with the ibex also.
Hi sir can i know how you connect the 2 hobbywing esc 1080 to the rx
Can you tell me how did you fit hobbywing 1080 esc to bully? Thank you 🙏
What size are those desert lizard shocks mm?
Matt Are you from Tennessee by chance?
I’m actually in Ky. Not far lol
What size wheels and tyres are these and what inserts thanks
what are you running the shock on the front different from the back
I've had all the same issues with my rtr ended up taking it apart and greased the axles tightened screws and rewired the electronics
Same here! Went through everything before taking it out when I seen the mess it was straight out of the box lol
They did replace it fairly quick but I had already swapped to the dual 1080s by then. Not a massive amount better or anything with the duals imo. I do like being able to run a bit of overdrive with the front motor through the mixing.
@@2fmrc good to know.my stock esc and dig work good sofar.i was thinking overdrive as well.with mixed esc.
@@johnyakoobian2450 yeah that’s the main advantage honestly. Otherwise I didn’t think the stock stuff was really that bad. Even seemed smoother than I expected.
DIY crawler rc is that?
Question what parts did you use on this rig??
Wow 😂 the RTR manager needs to wake up 😆
No kidding! It was a horrible mess. I think they just get it from China and ship it out. They don’t care what condition it’s in.
Where in CA are you?
I’m in Ky! Long way from CA lol
It's taken me a lot of time and tuning to make mine go as good as my wife's almost stock capra... was not impressed.
Oh man my Capra is decked out and does most stuff others can’t think about but I have this thing doing lines it can’t touch now. It’s a totally different rig though. It should be able to out perform it. I still love my Capra just because it’s so durable but this thing is probably my favorite to drive now. Just doubt it’s going to be as durable as most lol
u should throw some loctite on all the bolts when u first get it before u take it out on the field for a serious run anyways brotherman!!!!
and that's funny I've never thought of RTR as ready to rebuild hahaha but totally makes sense spending over a couple hundred on a little RC truck I would def take the time to protect my investment with a simple application of some loctite anyways ya feel me!! so don't bitch but awesome video!! it gave me some tips and awesome insight into these rigs and the trucks setup!!
I would love to know thanks in advance brother u have a super clean rig there on your hands!!! keep her clean!! and she will reward you with years and years of trouble-free fun! godspeed take care,
-Pete
Does the left front ever rub on the battery?
Not if you position it just right. I have some smaller batts on the way for it.
Those Chineese kids need to take more pride in their work. (Because in reality that is most likely who put it together.)
Awesome 👍😃
great rock climb~!!
these things are always sold out, seems like they are the only MOA on the market
Yeah without building a $1500 rig it’s about all you have out there
Even when you buy an rtr you always inspect all screws if everything is snug and tigjt up firmly
12:34 that rock looks real sad 😆
It’s hard to see on video but it’s on a pretty steep slope. None of the other trucks made it. The capras wouldn’t even touch it.
@@2fmrc I meant it looks like the rock has a sad face lol 🙈
That crawler is a beast! It's like there's zero gravity haha
@@_.Mike.__ haha! I see it now!!
Funny my tf2 LWD some stuff was too tight🤣
Very disappointing to see, RC4WD. I would be PISSED. You didn't sell it as a kit! You sold it RTR!!!
Yeah. Pretty disappointing for sure!
I'm not going to lie I love your videos and that thing is ugly as hell LOL
Whats goin on man. Use rustler or slash hollow balls. The rc4wd 1s constantly are stiff. The traxxas are free mving
Looks like someone didn’t read the directions and now it’s rc4wd’s fault🙄
😆 ok sure. It says rtr don’t it? Ready to run? Maybe they mean ready to reassemble? Rc4wd stuff is straight junk period. This is definitely their best Rc and it has issues if ran hard. People like you taking up for them releasing garbage is what keeps them going farther down the hole. Keep on tossing your money down the drain lol
U would have bn far better getin the kit insteady or rtr I don’t like rtr n Rc4wd all there rtr r rubish n u have to rebuild it m8
Yeah I wanted the kit but never could catch it in stock. Found this one on eBay one day so just went for it. Plus I never have the time to sit down and build one from scratch so I kinda prefer the rtr and then just rework it a bit. Which I’ve basically redid this entire truck so I probably would’ve been better off with the kit on it lol
@@2fmrc me n good friends r getin in to them he just order the bully 2 kit he allready got 2 moa’s n iv got 1 moa there grate fun m8
