Nice, didn't think when I got my FCX10 LC80 delivered today that I'd be upset about it, but I discovered this Pro soon afterwards and realised I could have got the ultimate FCX10. And blue is my favourite colour too.
With the way things are goin for Team Associated, FMS is in ripe position to make some huge steps forward IMO. Between them, and Redcat the 'underdog' brands are really improving quickly. Love to see it!
On the light controller there is a daytime running light port on position 3, you can use that for the front lights if you dont want turn signals, but want to keep the lights

And them going with an outrunner instead of the usual Fusion is kinda awesome, and unexpected. It's cool that it comes with the Batrazzi Precipice too. Those are some really nice "budget" tires. Fair RC did a good job with those, and cool to see them working with FMS on this one.

And the previous bottlenecked LC 80 seems to be much cheaper. Almost half the price of a K5 1/10. Hence I'm considering going for the non brushless version and eventually upgrade it with specific pro parts. I'm new to 1/10 scale and am more into trailing as of now.
@@Bladecelot honestly the original version is pretty good as well. I’ve seen some people having issues with the front axle shafts on the straight axles it comes with and feel like that’s why they went back to portals on this one. Seems to be a weak point. That’s the only major thing to consider between the two imo
@2fmrc Yeah and it doesn't make sense for me as a first trail RC to be too worried about since the one's who were a bit miffed were already exposed to too many crawlers. I'm just at the tip of the iceberg. 🥲

Yes you can? Just remove the 4 screws holding the skid and links on. Remove the metal skid and replace the screws back into the links. Already did it to mine. I’m not a fan of a metal skid either lol
I had bought the first one that came out. I’m a little ticked FMS didn’t at least give us a heads up that this one was coming because I would have much rather bought this one.
Please help .... I think im having issues with mine. Had to bind out the box, no big deal.... But....At low speeds as im slightly applying throttle the motor kinda stutters and stops rolling and then starts back up again after a little more throttle application happens. Or im finding a dead zone in the throttle. or is this just outrunners for you ? Also motor got real hot from a few minutes rolling on hardwood floor. should i return as faulty or mess with the throttle expo?
@@Hachii1337 that’s definitely not normal. Have you tried to calibrate the throttle? I haven’t checked the manual to know if that’s an option but usually it is. If that don’t work I’d def reach out to fms because it shouldn’t be getting hot like that. It should be able to crawl at a very very slow speed before cutting out and back in as well. Sounds like something is off imo

Did you move to Alaska for this video? Or is this because of Global Warming? Also if you turn off the turn signals how will others on the trail and rocks know when you’re turning? Cops gonna write you a ticket for those turn signals. Great looking Soccer Mom SUV.

Fms shafted everyone by releasing alot of versions. Should have made this from the start at $299. At this price it is at V, A & T brand territory. My 2 cents as nobody will say this. Not being a hater, as I wanted the k5 but was let down honestly. Cool review nonetheless.
Not a FMS hater here I bought the first one.. however I will say it and agree with you 1000% I feel shafted. I even went above and talked to FMS before I ordered mine I asked any other models of the LC 80 coming out they said no ..the very next day they released the red version..shady AF!!!!💯💯
Not trying to be negative, but I wouldn't call that a very nice transmitter. I wish they didn't even include these junk transmitters in these RTR kits, or offered PNP versions at least. Buy a few trucks and you end up with a handful of $10 transmitters that are all basically garbage when one $100-150 transmitter will handle all the models just fine.
