I wanted an e55 but settled for an 03 s55. Other than being a money pit with only 130k miles I loved the car. With mods was over 600hp and shocked alot of other drivers. Would go for an s65 next time whenever I find one.
What company/mods/tune you go with? Ive got a white 04 s55. Never buying a white car again! OMG as soon as I wash it, less than 1 month later and it would be absolutely filthy. But I only paid $15k for it with 50k miles. Got some experience replacing abc lines, that was fun. Very tight access around the engine area as far as lines go. Was gonna sell it but with the price of cars now, maybe i will keep it. The abc system is the biggest point of concern on these as far as im concerned. I would prefer an e55 but those have their own problems and e55's cost more. They have air suspension and the oilpump pickup oring that fails eventually and can wipe out your engine.
The thing about the new ones is the upgrade emissions for the exhaust so they can get that extra price tag so they can get sold everywhere. You just got to open them up and they chop so fucking hard.

I love e320. 6 seconds to 100kmh on a diesel engine that drives over 700k kilometer. That is something! But im just 16. I dont have money for that, thats why bought 2.1 w211 diesel.
