I got this iPad yesterday and it’s soooo much better than my other ipads and iPhone. I’m loving the screen size for me using my textbooks and Netflix of course, lol. I’m only sceptical of leaving it in my bag cause I’m the only one in school with this type, and people have sticky fingers. But I’m looving this ipad

The front being better than the back is actually a negative for me. I’m planning to use it to take pictures of models in my anatomy class. Then, I’ll be able to label the model digitally. I need a good camera to do that.

I have my Macbook Air for more intense tasks but I love the ipad as a secondary device. For digital note taking and video conferencing it can’t be beat. I really just use my Mac for typing papers otherwise I am mainly on the ipad. Can’t wait to use it for school and work since I work at a university. I personally don’t have an issue with the design but there are some shortcomings with the accessories. I do think it’s time for a better type cover and apple pencil 2 support. I can see why the type cover wouldn’t be offered as it basically costs what the ipad does but maybe a folio cover. If the design of the ipad needs to change fine but it really isn’t a must for me.

I have to say that after using my IPad 9 for two years now and also testing Ipad air/ pro I realised, that its way more comfortable to write with the pencile on Air and Pro. The Ipad 9 is just not as sturdy as the other two and the screen is also not as good as the one of the Air and Pro (in many categories). When I write on my 9gen, even with light pressure you can feel and see the glass denting inwards. It just feels better and safer to write on Ipad Air and Pro. However I can see that the price is a big factor, that is deffinetly a huge plus for the Ipad 9. However if one wants to buy an Ipad for the main purpose of taking notes, I would invest 150$ more and buy a refurbished Ipad air 4 or an Ipad Pro 2018 (Ipad pro 2018 > Ipad Air 4).
Its basically a 10.5 ipad pro (2017) for half the price and with a higher specification. You can buy the first-gen apple pencil really cheap second hand

The real issue is that iPad Air makes no sense. The extra cost of the iPad Pro is not much more. The decision is really between iPad Pro 11 or iPad v9.

I bought a case-keyboard from Logitech that could make me use the iPad like a computer and with the multitasking I’ve been studying, working, listening to music or RUclips all at the same time without any problem. At first I had to get used to the way Apple handled downloads in the "Files" application, but I mastered it in a week. I hope you have a great day and enjoy your iPad.
the only thing that keeps me from buying ang ipad is that I have an air2, so the non laminated screen of the ipad kinda feels like a downgrade in feel/touch even though everything else is better
iPads are great but I disagree with the advice to get an iPad as your only device for school. There are too many situations that might come up where you need a full computer.
I went from an iPad 8 to an iPad Air 5 and the difference has been night and day for me. Everything loads instantly, the huge amounts of RAM make multi-tasking seamless and the laminated display makes a big difference also P3 colour gamut.

64 gb is great, I think I had the 7th gen with 32 gb and I literally cant update anymore because of storage, I have 4.0 gb free instead of 5.1 lmao. So much free space yet cant update. It tricked me into buying icloud for more storage and yet my 3gb of photos are still not uploading to icloud despite having that option on. Okay I ranted there, but this is a great device I think even at the base model. I recommend for everyone, especially students. I’m hoping the 2023 redesign is gonna be a strict upgrade to the 10.5 pro. I want the 10.5 screen (or more), laminated display, and maybe 120hz but I seriously doubt that one. I kinda hope they don’t just make it the same as the new ipad pro/air/mini design. Instead of doing that, they can literally just reduce the price of the ipad air. unlaminated display, apple pencil 1 and big bezels are a dealbreaker for me. my 230€ android tablet has a fully laminated display not to mention thin bezels and a pen that doesnt charge weirdly and has shortcut buttons.

@@animeshpandey1331 try turn on ‘True Tone brightness’. But to may be due to how RUclips does eat your battery, but also update your iPad.

I have the A14 iPad 10th generation, still got Apple Pencil 1 but it’s such a good tablet. Love it

How about the port connection. Type c is the most common now. Transferring files thru cable type c is a huge help

Get a Logitech case with a keyboard instead of Apple’s case. You shouldn’t have to pay that much money for a case without a back protector.
