My first fork was exactly the same as yours including the color. I agree with the bit wide statement, although I can certainly use it well enough. I like those palm swells in my naturals too, but you have to start with an oversized Y so you can cut in the waist, it becomes work. My cheater solution is start with a more reasonable size Y, but still with enough that can remove some. Level each side of the handle and taper the waist portion. Glue softer wood pieces of board on each side of the handle and clamp them down. Once the glue is dry, you can rasp and file in the curves the way you want them and much easier than carving them. My personal favorite is multicolored cedar grips on a dark mahogany core. 👍

A good flat horseshoe rasp and some round our half round wood rasps will quickly remove the waste wood, to get your curves going. I have one of the LE Red Axiom's coming soon and will be my first sling shot with the Ocularis plug system, so anxious to get it and try it out.
I got mine last week. It is the best slingshot l ever purchased. I did make a few errors with the plugs but it was rectified in seconds and same goes for any fault with the band length. It can be fixed in seconds. Although I did not try it but I am sure it will take a wider band sets. I shot it yesterday and was surprised how well I shoot it. I wish I had purchased it earlier and not wasted my money on the Chines slingshots from the net.
I totally get that my friend! there’s a couple of Chinese slingshots that I think shoot pretty good if that’s all one can afford but to spend and extra 20 bucks at Simpleshot is so much worth it. I love this one and the Scout slingshots especially. I like to have a big collection depending upon what I’m craving haha! I’m actually going to be doing a review a little bit later on more of a classic slingsshot frame that I’ve got coming in the mail

Have you checked out badass slingbows,bro you can hunt or fish with with the retriever an yes can be a little expensive but they work an you can your set up of how you want your reel system retriever,you can get a search light on it an sights,they are awesome.
