Arch Devils should beat Titans if 1 stack only, maximizes retaliation. With full stacks, Gold Dragon should win with better AI positioning, as long as Breathe attack gives them a positive damage output.
These are definitely fun scenarios to try out - keep in mind that it very much depends on the special ability of the Arch Devils - the negative luck. If titans get misfortune on any of the first 2 or even 3 hits - it completely changes the situation.
It is still a lot of fun to play against it, and I think against the player is better - it manages to always pull off some nasty feats and make losses.
Goldies could win if the AI wasnt so dumb. They could breath 2 stack at once in turn 1 twice. They also did a lot of dmg to themselfs. Same go for Black Dragons which could win by even bigger margin. EDIT: In real gameplay where Heroes have some stats lets say 20/20 atk/def Ancient Behemoths demolish everything becouse their speciality. The more endgame you are the more deadly they are.
We can definitely see the "superb" AI moves. Definitely agree about the Behemoth remark. In fact there is no perfectly fair test for the units in Heroes 3, because the units' bonuses and abilities are so diverse and give the chance to win in so many ways. @HeroesKitchen yes i am 38 and still play this game with my highschool friends from time to time. And yes there is more to tier 7 units than just who win in 1v1. Titans are still top tier becouse they are shooters. For me its: AA: S tier BD, GD, Titans, Haspids: A tier AD: B tier Ghosties: C tier Hydras: D tier (they are too slow) Ancient Behemoth: SS to B (depends on game but endgame they kill everything) Phoenix pre HotA was SS now its A Factory i dont play coz i dont like them.

As they should, in my opinion. In the hands of the player that is one of the most versatile units - ranged lvl 7, can be cloned, doesn't need to engage in melee to clear the map or deliver value, and so much more . All in all - titans. 😅😅😅

Could you elaborate, please? I think they did kill - they make about 600 damage - which is about 2 titans, no? Or you meant like a whole stack?
titans would have performed even better had they waited on their first turn against enemies slower than them

I think for better entertainment would be good to change up combat speed
So many close fights! T7 is very well balanced.

I used to play this game alot. I had forgotten how bad the AI was.

Cool ranking for sure, I personally value Behemoths early game a lot, because of their small acquisition cost, and value to clear the early map.

Golden dragons would easy win but that AI unit placing destroy everything, Dragons kill each other...
Sometimes it makes me wonder if it is not doing it on purpose. Why doesn't it maximize breath attacks, why doesn't it prevent friendly fire, etc...
