Dá aflição de ver a guia tão alta. Quase perdi o dedo polegar numa serra como essa, porque a peça "trepidou" e a mão foi na direção da serra. Com a guia tão alta me parece ser mais perigoso ainda.
Cutting cylindrical things on a bandsaw is difficult and dangerous and although this is the first use of the jig, it is not single use. There is nothing stopping it from being used again.

I have noticed that. In every video that shows a bandsaw being used they got the blade guide in the next zip code
Some places work like this, because they might be just straps, while they cut a lot more wider for the structure, so its just not to waste time
My high school shop teacher would be so upset to see this. But the box guide is brilliant
