    Bonjour la famille. today, i'm a man of three countries. first of all, been watching the BBC from France for the annoucement of the new Prime Minister in England, then to Belgium to buy some juicy sweet grapes and then to the Cochise County Aéroport via the internet to watch your ups and downs on the scissor lift. what a project to get the gutters and downspouts positioned correctly. it appeared to me that the days spent doing the project would go SEAMLESSLY 🙂 alas, non !! so good see the children duly engaged in the project. what excellent role models you two are as parents. Bravo So we'll leave it there, and finish it another Day. Hola Ocho and see y'all soon cheers

  • @StoneKathryn
    @StoneKathryn Год назад +1

    I'm glad you figured out your water flow problem on the east gutter. It's great that you could call your dad and he had a reason why it wasn't working. My brother-in-law always says that nothing you see is flat or straight. Your mind just wants to make it seem that way. I would have not thought that the slab was not entirely flat. Dryer vent clamp or radiator hose clamp rigged to some kind of block mounted on the metal vertical truss of the building? I hope you figure out something not too ridiculous to mount the downspout too. Nice bending and forming there Ashley! Nice straps! Wow, those look so good! Those should hold the pipe up really well! Ocho is sure cute! I like his puppy bark. Yay, returning the scissor lift! Nice coffee shop! Those tortillas looked yummy too! Good luck getting it done on day two! Yay it passed the water holding test! Nice that you could put the dirt back into the trench! I really like that you're always thinking about the aesthetics of your buildings so the underground pipes are a great idea. Great job you guys! Thanks for this Longneckers!

    Project is looking great! You guys are getting way more rain than we are in Safford, but we are still getting some too! It's good for the aquifers! Those tortillas are the best my son lives in Maryland and anytime he comes out or we go out there, we buy a bunch and take them with us, and freeze them until we are ready to use them (if they are not eaten first!)! We also have some excellent Mexican restaurants in the area! One of these days we are going to drive down your way to try out your favorite coffee shop/cafe! I am excited to see you get your "airport" done! sure enjoy your channel and love watching you grow your homestead!

    • @StoneKathryn

      It can flow at a 1% drop. Window sills are at a 6 degree slope. They shed water. I'm not sure a full 15 degree slope is needed.

    Using a tube to extend the reach of the downspout is not unusual to me. I have been using tubing or washers to extend the reach of a mount for over 40 years. I never questioned how my dad extended a not exact coupling but something he did when I was a teen caused me to use this method when working. I just want to say the happiness and love comes through your videos. I am addicted to your posts. May God bless you and your works.
