So it seems like you two do a thrift and swap maybe. Oh and Jen I see you have your cartouche on. I have one that I haven't worn in a while -- got it on my trip to Egypt. Also, I watch for the fashions, styling and definitely the upcycling, but I feel like I'm one of the girls at this point. I haven't joined your group yet -- got a lot of home improvement and decor to do in this era in my life. Watching you is my guilty pleasure. Also, I am adding to my sewing machine and serger. I just purchased a industrial heavy duty sewing machine head that looks like a Juki, but it is a noname (no label). I plan to purchase a Juki light to medium weight machine and a table so I can switch the heads out as needed. Also, I have owned my wonderful Bernina for perhaps 20 years. I have a Bernette serger -- it gets on my nerves.... 😒. I am going to see what serger I will buy to replace it -- self threading, heavy duty, easy to deal with... I will look at more reviews to figure out what I want. When you upcycle you need good machines and equipment. So far I have stocked different size needles from different brands and for different purposes. I look forward to making a capsule and final wardrobe with the exception of some formal wear. This is another important reason that I watch you because I want styling ideas as well as upcycling ideas to create the lifestyle I want. I'm retired so each and everyday -- once my home is completed -- I can look anyway I want, but I want it to be cute at the minimum (even if I am in the garden). I got my tea, so I am watching learning and laughing. Thank you!!!
