  • @brianharder7714

    For Alaskans, this race has extra meaning, obviously. But it remains one of the most exciting Nordic races in Olympic history. Besides the great racing, I'm struck by how fast Diggins' skis are in all the legs. I hope the wax tech got the recognition he/she deserves. It takes a whole village to produce a performance like this.

    • @larsjorgensen2911
      @larsjorgensen2911 2 года назад +3

      Agreed. In several interviews since I've seen Diggins remark that it is truly a team Gold, as it could not have happened without all the other athletes, coaches, wax techs, trainers. Very humble recognition of all the support it takes at this level where hundredth's of seconds decide winners!

    Джессику Диггинс и Киккан Рендал на финише поздравили все... окромя "олимпикатлетфромраша,,...а ещё наши не знают почему с ними никто не общается. Учите международный язык, лыжники и биатлонисты, большой спорт это не ДЮСШа. Большунов до сих пор с переводчиком ходит, позор какой. Над Зайцевой и Вилухиной в открытую ржали немки и француженки на пресс-конференции, вместе все с операторами в том числе, а наши в это время козявки из носа вытаскивали, реально в носу колупались.

      В первую очередь Большунов - спортсмен и спортсмен с большой буквы. В первую очередь его задача - выигрывать, а знание английского языка это приятное, но совсем не обязательное дополнение. Лучше быть хорошим "немым" спортсменом, чем посредственным, но полиглотом. Вот мажоры из молодёжки просрали сильным командам, зато балакают на английском и что?
