This song is featured in the hilarious Robin Williams movie “Mrs Doubtfire”. A great movie for your movie reaction channel. You’ll love it. Hilarious and heartwarming. About a man who’ll do whatever it takes to spend time with his kids.
Definitely!!!
Was just going to mention this! Every time I hear this song (or see the video), I think of that movie! I LOVE that movie and is one of my favorite Robin Williams movies!
@Eric Schaefer It certainly does!!
Great movie but if they dive into Robin Williams they need to do Bicentennial Man!
Great movie! I hope they react to it this summer! :D
Hard to go wrong with Aerosmith!
True! They always give their fans sweet emotions. 😉
Steven Tyler got a 14yr old pregnant, look up things before you say “awesome!” 👍🏻
@@jasonmoss7990 whilst there are definitely issues behind the scenes, I hold to the saying of Judge the art not the artist. The art is spectacular.
I find some of their ballads to be wrong... for my taste.
4- sure!!
The story behind this song is Steven Tyler was at a bar with his band mates, and he saw a beautiful, blonde from behind sitting at the bar. He went over to talk to her, and when the blonde turned around it was Vince Neal of Mötley Crew. Steven Tyler’s bandmates made fun of him, joking about how the "dude looked like a lady".
On a business trip with a group of us attending a trade show in N'awlins. Of course we're walking down Bourbon street taking in the sights and getting drunker by the minute or so.
Out of no where I find myself checking out a vertical rectangle and the picture of 6 scantily clad babes. One was kinda, meh. The other 5 a solid 8.5 to 9.
Turns out it's a cross dresser show. I guarantee there's not a single straight guy in the world wouldn't be hoppin' on them if he didn't know about the plumbing. I mean SMOKIN' HOT!!!!!😎
As Gen X our generation didn't care what everyone else was doing or getting in their business, we just wanted to have fun, and Arrowsmith was fun, wish we could get some of that live and let live attitude back. Great reaction guys❤
“Arrowsmith”
@@adnap Right!? Performing live with Steve Neil from Motley Crew 🤣😜🤘
Yeah and Steven Tyler had sex with minors. Dude is an absolute POS
Exactly. I was thinking how gen Zers are like bloody Victorians or 50's housewives. They're so uptight and prudish about everything. It's exhausting
GenX was busy having fun while the USA Contras were butchering Central American indigenous people throughout the eighties with their proxies lol
Typical "I'm alright, sod you all" selfish mentality
This is the hit that brought them back. After the Run DMC "Walk This Way", they released this album with this song being the first single. And they never looked back!
The first single was actually "Hangman Jury" before this one. Permanent Vacation (1987) was released in the same year as Appetite for Destruction by Guns N' Roses, The Joshua Tree by U2, Hysteria by Def Leppard, Whitesnake's self-titled album, Tango in the Night by Fleetwood Mac, Kick by INXS, etc... Though Slippery When Wet (1986) by Bon Jovi ultimately became the best-selling album of '87 in the USA.
"His mic stand had to go to therapy after that" - LMAO!!!!!
One of the funniest lines I've ever heard and that includes professional comedians.😎
Cannot hear this without picturing Robin Williams in Mrs Doubtfire dancing around the house with the broom 😂❤
This was such an important track for Aerosmith, it marked the first comeback from rehab for the entire band and they had to prove they could do sober what they had done when well under the influence. Point proved. ✌️
Point proved, they went from great band to superstar hit makers. But their sound did change. Kind of like when ZZ Top changed their sound and started turning out hits.
-#cheers-- !-
Run DMC collaboration of Walk This Way introduced them to a new generation (my generation) and made them what they are today.
This is hard rock. This is how it's meant to be done. Sexy and irreverent, Steven knows how to be a rock star.
He's also an absolute predator who slept with a minor. Dude is a piece of filth.
Yes he does!! Love Steven!!
Bullseye fun, sexy and it rocks hard !
Watching them do this live was unforgettable. The entire arena exploded and everyone went crazy!
Should be the theme song of the 2020's.😂
I've seen them twice back in the day and was always an experience to never forget. Love, love love them.❤❤
Still need to hear some old Aerosmith - Mama Kin - Chip Away at the Stone - Toys in the Attic - Sweet Emotion - Dream On
No More No More, Kings and Queens, Last Child.
@@kbusby4824 Uncle Salty, Adam's Apple, Sweet Emotion, You See Me Crying, Big Ten Inch Record
Combination
Kings and queens is one of my favorites, and definitely sweet emotion
Definitely Sweet Emotion!! Banger for sure!
One of my major clients, Desmond Child, wrote this song with Aerosmith. One of my favorites. He also wrote many others including “Angel”, “What It Takes” and “Crazy”.
Desmond has written or co-written a crap ton of massive hits for a lot of bands and singers, including Bon Jovi and Kiss.
Child is a legend in the hair band scene as a song doctor like no other. Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, KISS, Alice Cooper. He had his finger on the pulse of the sound of the moment. Such good tunes!
Steve Niel? You mean Vince Niel
While being sensitive to the fact that he's your client, my personal opinion is that the major downslide for Aerosmith came when they started having people like Desmond Child write their songs, instead of writing them themselves.
@@timothyryan3031 We can say that looking back in retrospect that, most everything on Permanent Vacation forward was in some ways fundamentally different than what had preceded it, we can’t underestimate how much in the wilderness Aerosmith was before these albums. Without folks such as Child, the Walk This Way collab notwithstanding, there may not have been an Aerosmith second act at all. Now, by Get A Grip, the formula was starting to show, but on Permanent Vacation and Pump, song doctors like Child gave a little direction to the directionless.
Your next Aerosmith reaction should be "Walk This Way", hopefully their version with RUN DMC. You have already done most of their best songs, "Walk This Way" is one of their Signature songs though.
This song and Mrs. Doubtfire were a perfect match.
A million stories went around in why this song exists… my personal fave “this was written about Vince Neal from Motley Crue because they thought he looked like a lady” 😂 I don’t know why but it new popularity when Mrs. Doubtfire used it. It’s a great one!
Or at the whole "glam rock" scene, either way, it made sense at the time.
I was going to comment the same thing, ironic, my wife's favorite bans is Crue.
Because Mrs. Doubtfire was a hilarious movie and of course the one and only Robin Williams had of his best performances in that movie. And since Robin's gone that'll boost the song even more. I'm a huge Robin Williams fan and Aerosmith too.
Yes, Steven Tyler's spotted Vince across a bar in LA & thought he was a chick. Around the same time, Tommy & Vince were drunk & got into a fight. Cops got a call about two girls fighting in an alley 😅
Before the reaction, they talk about that in the video.
I was a teenager in the 80s. Love all those rock bands. I hate that all my heros have to get old. That means I am too😅
It beats the alternative. 😂
Have a wonderful memorial day weekend 😊 🎉👏 love your channels.
Tyler definitely takes everything to another level!!!! 😂
Say a special thanks to Desmond Child for this song. The great hitmaker behind BonJovi, Kiss, Alice Cooper, Joan Jett, Michael Bolton, Cher , Ricky Martin and so much more!
This song was featured in "Mrs. Doubtfire," a great movie for your other channel, starring Robin Williams.
YES!!!!
Definitely worth watching.
Agree Yes
Mrs. Doubtfire! Great movie for the family.
Another great song!!
Indeed, Love in an Elevator is good.
Check out Hangman Jury from this album, it’s a great deep cut
"What a funky lady!" 🤣
I like their songs dude looks like a lady. Janie's got a gun, walk this way, dream on,sweet emotion, back in the saddle, living on the edge,
YOU GOTTA DO LIVING ON THE EDGE by Aerosmith!!!!! PLEASE!
This song was featured in the Robin Williams Movie “Mrs. Doubtfire”
Great song! Other ones worth checking out are, Walk This Way, Living On the Edge, and Crying.
I've seen countless people say that this song wouldn't be popular if it was released today but they clearly don't know the song's meaning.
Jay & Amber, you'll love their "Jaded" !!
Amber, I appreciate how you see the humor in the song. it's raucous, but also humorous. That's Aerosmith.
Oh cool finally good to see you all do this song. If you all have ever seen Mrs. Doubtfire you'll know this song. If not then there's a movie for your movie review channel.
Aerosmith is just the bomb!!! So glad to have seen these guys live!!! ❤❤❤❤
Great song by Aerosmith Have you seen the film "mrs. Doubtfire" this song was used in the film..
And to think, there was a time when you didn't ever want to listen to Rock, now you see what you would have been missing ;)
Aerosmith was one of the most amazing concerts I've ever scene. Keep diving, you're in for a real treat!
I always think of Mrs Doubtfire when I hear this song :) RIP Robin Williams.
Amber; you would have lost your mind at an Aerosmith concert. As someone who has been to 4 concerts in the NY area (back in the day), you would have been in the front rows with the rest of them, trying NOT TO LOOK. Hahaha every once in a while we go back to watch your reaction, over and over again. You’re the best.
Amber: "His mic stand had to go to therapy after that." LOL
I saw Aerosmith open for Black Sabbath at MSG, NY in 1976. It was their tour for Toys in the Attic and in my opinion they blew Sabbath away!! Saw them many tours after because they were just that great in concert. They were like a shot of adrenaline every time I saw them. They never mailed in a performance! So damn good.
I only got to see Aerosmith one time, and it was the weirdest bill ever. Megadeth was their opening band. In Dallas, Summer of '93. It was such a bizarre vibe. It almost seemed like a mistake. But so cool in retrospect.
I love Aerosmith
Saw them in OKC three times!! Always an awesome show!🤘🔥
I was 14 in 1977 when I first heard them and have been hooked ever since. Got to finally see them in 2007, a birthday present form my husband
I agree. You never want to stop looking at him or listening to him. Yes. He is very Jagger like and I think there might have been some friction between them over it. He has such swag. And an amazing voice.
I agree. He's one of the people I immediately picture when I hear the words ROCK STAR
Amber's reactions were so cute!😂
This was always a great song. However, I think that Robin Williams dressed up as Mrs. Doubtfire in 1993 while dancing with a vacuum majorly “re-popularized” this classic song sang by Steven Tyler and Aerosmith
I've seen Aerosmith live a few times and they seemed to get better every time.
Someone put together Falco and Rick James called "Der Superfreak". Worth a listen
In my mind the BEST AMERICAN ROCK BAND AND FRONT MAN!! There's no one like Steve!!😊
I'm sure by now 100 people have said that this was the theme song for Mrs. Doubtfire. I LOVE Steven Tyler and Aerosmith!!! I think I first saw him when he he was in the, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, movie with The Bee Gees and Peter Frampton in the late 70s. Silly film perhaps, but I LOVED it. When Aerosmith did, Come Together, I was instantly in love with Steven Tyler!!!
Amber…. Steven got the best dimples. 🤪🤪🤪LOL. Song is about seeing a blonde at a bar and turns out it was Vince Neal, lead singer of Motley Crue, in glam makeup. Last time I saw Aerosmith, Steven wore sheer black harem pants and a g-string. That was it. So sad this year is their last tour. Ticket prices are ridiculous. I used to get front row tickets for about $100 and now they are $12K.
But he’ll always be my best. ❤❤❤
This song rocks! And I love Amber’s comment near the end: “That mic stand is gonna have to go to therapy!” Yes it will! 😆 Great reaction! Love you guys! 💕
Thanks my friend for some great Aerosmith😂
Amber is just precious and adorable. 😂❤ What a fun reaction to such a fun song. I can’t believe I was only 10 when this song came out. I guess we were still jamming to it when I was a teenager. I mean they ARE pretty timeless. 😊
I loved this album and saw the Permanent Vacation tour at the Joe Louis Arena.
Still say you should check out the first song on the first side of the first album, Make It.
Great reaction, guess this song would get some flack today.
😂Love this song. So fun. 🎶💕🎶
Big comeback record/LP for Aerosmith..Guitarist Joe Perry had rejoined the band, they'd kicked all the drugs, and got back to biz..many critics had written them off and had to eat crow...They were still more than alive, and thier next LP would put them back in the elite of music with the tune you mentioned, "love in an elevator"
They did a reunion tour and then released Done with Mirrors before this album. Saw them on both tours and trust me they were still doing drugs at that time. Steven Tyler could barely stand both times.
His mike stand had to go to therapy after that one!!! I love it!! 😅😅😅
When I hear this song I think of the movie “Mrs. Doubtfire.” Robin Willams dances to the song while vacuuming. Anyway, Aerosmith is an amazing group. ❤❤
And yes, never judge a book by its cover!
Saw them three times in the 90's every show was fantastic !!!!
My husband and I went to an Aerosmith concert and he told me that now he could see why women loved Steven Tyler! He definitely has stage presence!
"His mic stand has to go to therapy." Hilarious! You're the best!
Love in an Elevator was great with the start. It's so them. You can't go wrong with Aerosmith.
Its an absolute must to do the Aerosmith song with Run DMC, Walk thus Way. Its awesome!
From the time when Vince Neil, lead singer of Motley Crue, had platinum blonde hair and was wearing pink and white spandex. When they basically defined what glam metal was. Their third album Theater of Pain was the glam metal album of the time. After every record company signed every glam band they could Motley changed their image again. Always defining the look and sound and never copying someone else.
Will never get tired of this song & Aerosmith!!
This song is one of those tracks that 90% of the population know and love!
'Shut up and Dance' is another track from this era of Aerosmith that rocks so hard!
Great reaction guys, just what my soul needed!❤
You guys had me laughing watching this😂
Their farewell tour is happening this year - see them while you can!
I saw Aerosmith back in 1994. I like their power ballads and blues numbers myself. ANGEL, TELL ME WHAT IT TAKEs.
One of my favorites by Aerosmith.
Kings and Queens by Aerosmith! By far their best song in my opinion
Ever since “Mrs. Doubtfire “, I can’t hear this song without thinking of that scene….great music placement!
One of my favs of songs of Aerosmith
Every time I hear this song it always drags me to the greatly missed Robin Williams doing the hoovering while dressed as Mrs Doubtfire in the movie of the same name
Those classic Aerosmith videos were always entertaining…
I have never seen a reaction to the Aerosmith song - Nobody's Fault
I already love Aerosmith, but both of you made me love them even more!!!! So fun to enjoy with you!
(I’m 70)
Oh yeah. Can't help but think of Robin Williams. Miss him. RIP. Robin. Awesome song.
I seen Aerosmith in concert when I was younger. The best concert ever he sounds just as good live then he does on the radio & I've seen alot of concerts in my days😊 Motley Crue, Def Leppard and Rod Stewart is some of the other groups I've seen that sounded great! Of course this was in the 80s& 90s😂
My grandfather loves Aerosmith
AEROSMITH 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Steve Tyler's voice is 🤯🤯🤯🤯
I remember when this came out and old fans of the band thought they sold out. I loved the newer sound they took on!
This was start of Phase II of Aerosmith, at least with regard to original material. It came out in the Fall of 1987 and remains a classic. That Phase II period was marked by the introduction of horns into their music.
Yes yes yes!! More Aerosmith and 80’s rock 🔥🔥🔥
The pure joy in you guys’ faces when you listen to this music is so much fun to watch!! I am so glad I found your channel!! 🩷
Love the horn additions to this song to lift it. Their producers John Kalodner was genius for it.
I was lucky to see Aerosmith in concert in the early 90's. Absolutely one of the best concerts EVER!!
I totally remember seeing them in Toronto. A friends mom gave me the ticket day before someone cancelled and she knew I was a fan. We had really great seats close to stage. The band was amazing. They had some great stage effects and explosions for the time. All timed perfect. It was a great experience
You're lucky you saw them when they were sober. I saw them three times in the 70's and they were terrible. Drugged out to the max.
I saw them around '78 and again in '88. They started in the late sixties but didn't explode until the '70s. They've been kickin' it for a minute! 👈Yeah, I'm 64 years old, and I said that! We were cool before you were a gleam in your daddy's eye!
Aerosmith = The party that never ends 🎉
I forgot how much I love this song!
❤❤❤❤❤
Check out Aerosmith's early songs... Mama Kin, Toys In The Attic, Last Child,Kings and Queens for starters. They were so raw and Amazing!!
Add “No more, No More “ to that list
@suzieredfoxfur6982 Major Barbara too while we're at it!!
I can't hear this song without thinking about the film Mrs. Doubtfire RIP Robin Williams.
Took my daughter to Aerosmith when they came thru Wyoming on the Pump tour, totally rocked out the event center. And Steven Tyler was just freaking awesome the way he interacted with the kids as the band walked out...one of my daughter's friends swore that she was never going to wash the hand that Steven touched ever.
Got to see them in the 90’s - great concert (but not as great as Pink Floyd!) 😂
Should be the theme song of the 2020's.😂
This was the very 1st Aerosmith video I ever watched. This is where I fell in love!😂😂
If you wanna hear the hardest Aerosmith song you need to hear "Nobody's Fault" listen to it one day you really wanna rock out hard!
