Your baby is so lucky. My mom told me she put headphones on her belly when she was pregnant with me. That might have something to with my vocal talent. Unfortunately I'm not very good at the guitar because I inherited Dupuytren's contracture from my dad. It limits my endurance for tasks that require a strong grip or manual dexterity. If I practice basic chords on the guitar for an hour or so my left hand is going to cramp up. For me, this is a perfect example of the awesomeness of Roger Taylor - Drummer and Back up Singer. When you think of Drummer as vocalist, you cannot deny Roger's skills as drummer and vocalist. Very Rare indeed!
I'm glad to see your reaction to his onstage presence. In my opinion (others may disagree but), he is the greatest front man to ever set foot on stage. He could take an audience that was just "kinda there" and, by his movement and vocal inflection, carry them on his shoulders until they were flying high on the music just like him. No drugs, no alcohol on stage (many people mistook his honey-lemon tea that he drank to soothe his throat to be able to continue belting it out as him drinking beer.) He may have partied hard off stage, but on performance days he insisted that they all be sober for the show. After that they could go wild, but never on stage. Talk about professionalism in an industry that fully expected the band to be under the influence 24/7. Wow. I really, really admire his performance, personality and work ethic. It's so rare for them to "put the music and the fans first" that you really have to give him props. I may have my problems understanding parts of his personal life, but that doesn't influence my opinion of him, his artistry and pure musical genius. No judgment on ANYONE, I just am so straight that I have never been able to understand how a man can look at another man and think about them in romantic or sexual terms. That's not me saying that it's wrong... only that I honestly don't understand how it works so please don't bash me. I have many gay friends (male and female) and they are some of the best humans I have ever met. In fact, my friend Jim is godfather to my son so please... don't even try to hit me with that "homophobia" crap. Just because you are friends with someone doesn't mean you automatically understand them and their motivations. I have been dealing with judgment and racism my whole life (My father was Native American and my mother Caucasian. Us kids were never fully accepted by either side, let alone the community at large) so I refuse to judge people by appearances, but wait to find the content of their character. (MLK was a very wise man)
Correction. Freddie Mercury could sing a bowl of alphabet soup and earn a Grammy AND have a number 1 hit! Amazing is an understatement for the genius that left us far too soon.
Freddie was a Queen and King of music , a true amazing star ! Some people are born to bless us for a short time , he left everything on the concert stage . He is dancing among the stars now .
R.est I.n P.ower Freddy. He was such an old soul, kind. I Lost my Oldest Brother to HIV in the late 80s. Love this song‼‼‼‼‼ Freddie is a genius in my opinion. He writes lyrics, has a voice like no other, and is the BEST performer. He will NEVER be forgotten‼‼‼👍
This song brought new and added meaning to the 60s/70s phrase "You can't boogie without bottom." Originally referring to a good bass line and solid drum beat - this works - too.
Oh the memories with this song! The first time I left it dialed up on the 8-track when my mom got in the car, rocking down the road singing along, the result from letting my young children listen to it on the way to church, the look on my preacher son’s face when he realized his sisters who all under 5 knew all the words,
I knew life before I left my nursery Left alone with big fat Fanny She was such a naughty nanny You big woman, you made a bad boy out of me.There is technically a part 2.In this song he says Get on your bikes and ride. The part 2 is called bicycle race.
Here's one for you. Queen " who wants to live forever" Pretty different then what you just listened to but a great one! Video has orchestra . Also the group " TheTenors " does a great version . Check it out. Cheers !
The whole "Highlander" soundtrack is freakin' awesome. Queen made that fun cheesefest awesome. "Who Wants to Live Forever" "Princes of the Universe" "Gimme the Prize" "A Kind of Magic" Or how about "Flash's Theme" from the "Flash Gordon" soundtrack?
I'm going to guess that initially when she saw the title, she thought it was gonna somehow be a knock on fat bottomed girls. The delight that spread across her face as she heard the lyrics and understood them...priceless.
Roger Taylor (drummer) has such an incredible voice. Queen was able to do so much more because of Roger’s voice. He is one of the main reasons their harmonies were so good. If you ever get a chance, their are Queen videos that isolate his voice. It’s incredible.
One of the best, upbeat and fun songs by Queen - always puts me in a great mood. Loved Amber’s reaction! Oh and BTW, I just have to say that Amber’s hair is so beautiful 😍
I was lucky enough to hear and see Queen live in San Francisco in 1980. Best concert ever! I have never seen anyone play a 10 foot gong like he did! I still have the t-shirt! Wonderful memories!
Forty-five years ago I worked in a bicycle shop part-time, and we were always playing whatever was popular, especially Queen, while assembling bikes in the back shop. We displayed the inner sleeve of the album, a photo of naked "fat-bottomed" women riding away on bicycles. Good music to assemble bicycles to, and an inspiration for group of young bicycle crazed guys looking forward to what we might view on our next ride. Still riding 70+ miles in a week in my sixties and enjoying the view.
Thank you! A great song that your kids will love is "The Miracle". They have children play the parts of the band members and it's stellar with a great message.
Fat Bottomed Girls is like a Southern Rock song, and it shows just how broad their reach was in trying different kinds of music. Bohemian Rhapsody is like a classical ensemble one could expect from Bach or Beethoven, then morphs into a modern full out rock song. Crazy Little Thing Called Love is a Rockabilly styled song from the 50's era. They really reached out to about every kind of music genre for their music. Incidentally Amber, you're really pretty when you have your hair down. Wear it like this more. I tell the same thing to my wife too.
I was fortunate enough to be in single digits during the 1970s hearing all these awesome albums growing up. Music is an incredible time machine you can travel to another time and place longing for cherished moments of the past...
Love you two. Glad to support your channel and wish the best. I'm 69 and I listen to Queen and this song a lot. Form me, when I'm down, I play this song *LOUD* and I cannot stay down, I have to just rock out like I did the first time I heard long before you were born.
A true rock anthem in every note and drum beat. We are losing so many legendary true musicians. I hope the next generations are up to the job of supplying the new ones. Life is better with music.
One of the things about Queen in their Studio recording (that was the music video to the studio recording) - but they always performed in the studio as if they were live on stage, so that every recording is them giving their all to the song. My all time favourite band and singer of all time. I'll be tracking back through your reactions to see what other gems you've stumbled on to :)
Another great reaction you guys, and how can you go wrong with Queen? Fun fact - all the band members wrote songs, and they're the only group in which every member wrote at least one Number 1 hit single. Keep on keepin on - peace and love!
I’m 71 and sincerely enjoy watching the two of you on here listening to music! Thank You so very much for your time and entertainment you give to us All, me especially!😁😁
They even reference each other! Fat bottomed girls - "get on your bikes and ride" Bicycle song - "fat bottomed girls will be riding today" Genius for intertwining the two songs that were released on the same single
One of the first Queen songs I heard as a young teenager. It intrigued me . Listening to Freddie in many of the time he doesn’t sing with the beat. Fantastic
What I love most about Freddie is that he was born named Farrokh Bulsara as a Parsi in Zanzibar. He was not "white" or "straight" or "normal", yet he was the pinnacle of Western music for a decade.
Greetings from London. On 24 Nov, to mark 30 years since Freddie passed, I went to outside his house in London to pay tribute. There were a few others there and yellow flowers 🌻had been left by the side door. All good wishes for 2022 😀🚴♀🚴♂🎸🌻

(MLK was a very wise man)
Love of my Life! Live in Wembley Stadium 1986 ,pure perfection!
Proof Freddie Mercury could sing the phone book and he’s make it a hit. Thanks for celebrating one of the titans of music!
Correction. Freddie Mercury could sing a bowl of alphabet soup and earn a Grammy AND have a number 1 hit!
Amazing is an understatement for the genius that left us far too soon.
Thank you guys for honoring Freddie today! Such an extraordinary artist and human being. Please do more Zeppelin and Meat Loaf!
More Zeppelin for sure, but why would you want to torture people with Meat Loaf? 😉
Yes Meat Loaf. I want to see a reaction to the music video for Objects in the Rear View Mirror. Makes me cry every time.
I just love that "Fat Bottom Girls" was NOT a diss!! They LOVED the fat bottom girls!
Freddie was a Queen and King of music , a true amazing star ! Some people are born to bless us for a short time , he left everything on the concert stage . He is dancing among the stars now .
So glad you guys are loving Freddy Mercury today!!!! That’s for every reaction you do!! Xo
I think the term “frontman” was coined for Freddie. Just oozing charisma to go with all that damn talent. I just love Queen!
Jagger, Daltrey and Plant came before Mercury and were great frontmen, not better than Freddie, but definitely just as entertaining
He was defiantly a showman
Freddie Mercury was the most beautiful stage peacock. He strutted and sang and played and you just couldn't take your eyes off of him. RIP Freddie.
I lived through that era and failed to really appreciate Queen until years later. Another incredible talent gone too soon.
Me too. I didn't really start appreciating Queen until Innuendo. What a fool I was.
yep same for me@@fredcoleman6827
R.est I.n P.ower Freddy. He was such an old soul, kind. I Lost my Oldest Brother to HIV in the late 80s. He was like Freddy, he lived his life to the fullest, was kind and would not allow any negativity to ruin his smile. So Freddy's death hit me hard. I'm glad you played this song, my Brother David Loved Big Bottom Girls. Ha ha haaaaa. Thank You for reminding me again. Remember, You are Loved and Blessed, You make not only me but a lot of ppl smile everyday. Thank You Both, You're incredible human beings. Kudos to the ones that raised ya'll. They did a Terrific Job. I see you passing these traits down to your children. That IS The GREATEST LOVE OF ALL. Thanks Amber, Thanks Jay. God Bless and keep you safe and well. Much Love from California Kat ❤
Love this song‼‼‼‼‼
Freddie is a genius in my opinion. He writes lyrics, has a voice like no other, and is the BEST performer. He will NEVER be forgotten‼‼‼👍
Except he didn't write this one. There are other members of Queen ya'know?
Hey! I'm fat-bottom girl, so I LOVE this song! LOL! 🤘🎶💙
Me too!!!!!!
You should like Mika - Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)

You guys are so awesome, doing this for Freddie. You guys are a part of my day now. Thank you!
Love love love Queen. Freddie...we still love you. 💖
I believe that this song is not comedy but an ode to all of us fat bottom girls. Ty Freddie
It's actually about being molested by your fat nanny!
One of my favorite Queen songs!!
Agreed, one of my favourites too.
this is absolutely one of my theme songs!! I will get up and dance, sing and emulate Freddie to the extreme!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this song
This song brought new and added meaning to the 60s/70s phrase "You can't boogie without bottom."
Originally referring to a good bass line and solid drum beat - this works - too.
You gotta hand it to the Brit's in the 70's with bands like Queen, Led Zepellin, The Who & Pink Floyd....They ROCKED ! Great Reaction BTW.
I love Jay appreciating Queen's incredible harmonies. Brian May's The Red Special is so crucial to this song, too.
Oh the memories with this song! The first time I left it dialed up on the 8-track when my mom got in the car, rocking down the road singing along, the result from letting my young children listen to it on the way to church, the look on my preacher son’s face when he realized his sisters who all under 5 knew all the words,
Priceless story!!! 🤣👏👏
Pure joy to see you guys dig this! For those of us who have our 40years in with Fred , we salute you guys!
This came out in the 70s ,, 1978 Right here,,
I had to chime in on this one!!! Love this song and all the memories it brings back!!!
Love and good health to you all...
You can't hear this song and not smile and nod. It's just beatiful.
I love watching a new generation discover our old music!
I knew life before I left my nursery
Left alone with big fat Fanny
She was such a naughty nanny
You big woman, you made a bad boy out of me.There is technically a part 2.In this song he says Get on your bikes and ride.
"Who Wants to Live Forever"
"Princes of the Universe"
"Gimme the Prize"
"A Kind of Magic"
Or how about "Flash's Theme" from the "Flash Gordon" soundtrack?
@@newgrl Flash! Ah-ah!
@@newgrl I loved highlander series! Yep, great sound track!
My favorite Queen song is Play The Game. It's not one of the popular ones, but very cool! I highly recommend taking a listen!
Watching Ambers reaction in the beginning to the lyrics is priceless
When you are driving in your car and this song comes on the radio, joyous moment! Crank it up!
I'm going to guess that initially when she saw the title, she thought it was gonna somehow be a knock on fat bottomed girls. The delight that spread across her face as she heard the lyrics and understood them...priceless.
I'm digging this theme of sticking with one artist for the day. What a fun reaction. I was dancing along with you guys.
Roger Taylor (drummer) has such an incredible voice. Queen was able to do so much more because of Roger’s voice. He is one of the main reasons their harmonies were so good. If you ever get a chance, their are Queen videos that isolate his voice. It’s incredible.
"I'm in love with my car" !
So much innocence in her reaction I am loving it. We fat bottom girls definitely make the rocking world go round.
I love the pure joy in Amber's face at so many parts of the song.
This was the 70s EVERY BODY ,,
Next Stops, Timeless Voices Edition:
Patsy Cline, "I Fall to Pieces" (for Female Friday)
Bing Crosby, "White Christmas" (for the Christmas List)
Heart, "Magic Man" (for Female Friday)
One of the best, upbeat and fun songs by Queen - always puts me in a great mood. Loved Amber’s reaction! Oh and BTW, I just have to say that Amber’s hair is so beautiful 😍
Probably one of the most fun songs to listen to while driving with your friends cause everyone knows the words or at least the chorus
I know everyone watching is bopping and shaking their heads in time and how cool is that?
Queen did the soundtrack for flash Gordon the movie and got me hooked
Amber emailed me back, her wrist is fine. Just some carry over carpal tunnel from Luca's pregnancy.
I love this song and you two definitely made me smile with your reactions!
It makes me emotianal. I was brought up as a queen fan and its great to watch others actually get it!
Freddie was the epitome of Showmanship. RIP.
It's a great, self-esteem song! Women of all shapes make the rockin' world go 'round 😊
Technically this song belongs as a pair with Bicycle Race just like We Will Rock You & We Are The Champions
Go browns
@@tjhunger8644 You must have recognized the buzzard!
They even reference each other!
Fat bottomed girls - "get on your bikes and ride"
Bicycle song - "fat bottomed girls will be riding today"
Genius for intertwining the two songs that were released on the same single
Yeah. Grew up in a city near Cleveland Lorain Oh and listen to WMMS Kid Leo and "Matt the Cat"
Queen is eternal.
Wish I had a nanny like his!
Have you thought of reacting to the Bohemian Rhapsody biopic?
"Whole Lotta Rosie" by AC/DC is another song in praise of larger women.
You two are just ridiculously cute. You put a huge smile on my face. Thanks for sharing Freddie.
Forever.
He was true to himself and his music. A brave man and a great talent who died far too soon.
You need to see the live version -- Fat Bottomed Girls (Live at The Bowl 1982).
My favorite song by Queen. Roger Taylor and those drums tho❤️
Taylor is up there with a greats. Top five rock drummers in my opinion
Greetings from London. On 24 Nov, to mark 30 years since Freddie passed, I went to outside his house in London to pay tribute. There were a few others there and yellow flowers 🌻had been left by the side door. All good wishes for 2022 😀🚴♀🚴♂🎸🌻
Brian May wrote this. In addition to being a rock star he is also an astrophysicist. (For real)
If he says something makes the world go round it is just scientific fact 😂
