When I scan an image, such as this that has already been embroidered, I get a message to add a snowman sticker. Is there a setting that's causing the sticker to be required. I've watched several videos and never seen it happen. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your video I’ve passed it on to several friends and they are excited as I am too use our fill patterns and make something beautiful. After I filled in all my petals of this flower I hit next and it tells me ……pattern extends to the outside of the embroidery area it cannot be converted. I have looked through everything that I know and I cannot find a reason why this is saying this. It is not close to the edge of the frame an inch from the sides and I have the biggest frame on. Any suggestions would be appreciated thank you
I don’t mean to be rude or anything but what the purpose of painting the feathers for? I have the Dream Machine and I can scan too, but not color. Even when I find an embroidery image and pull up on screen to embroidery, it will give me the color threads for each part, but I mostly never go by the color that give me, so I pick out my own colors. Just curious....I mean like if you want all the feathers blue then just use threads blue instead of painting on screen, it save time....
Hi Cat - its true that the machine doesn't care what color you use to specify an area in the Design Center. You can color something green and then use red thread when you stitch it out. But what you do need to do is use a different color for each color you're going to stitch out. If you make everything on the screen green the machine wouldn't stop to let you change threads. Also, in this example I was coloring areas that I then filled with different stitch patterns, so I first defined the areas and then went back and selected the fancy fills I wanted to use. Does that make sense?
Hi Estela - the pattern is Rooster by Virginia Robertson Designs. It is applique. You can purchase it on our website: patchworkplus-quilting.com/rooster.html
Hi Margaret - I'm using an ONN Optical mouse, but I don't know how old it is. I have a lot of different mice around and I've found about 1/2 of them work great with the Luminaire and the Dream. The others seem to be too sensitive... Brother sells a mouse that is guaranteed to work with our machines so that is the safest bet. But if you have a mouse just plug it in and give it a try.
Thank you so much for your videos. I'm discovering so much about my Lumi, all thanks to you!
thankyou, It will be great to see the rest on the second video,., Looking great,
Thanks - I'll have the other sections up soon. :)

Check and see which hoop is selected in the shapes menu.

Did you applique this rooster? or is it a design from the machine?

What brand mouse are you using.
