    Great video. It has given me a lot of ideas. However, the highlight was seeing your beautiful Westie. (I miss mine so much.)

    Excellent tutorial. Thanks for the help. I have not been able to attend classes for my Luminaire because my husband is very ill. This is thorough & helpful. Thanks again.

      The Luminaire is the best machine ever! You should definitely upgrade!!! Most dealers will take your Quattro as a trade in.

    Can you do a video showing how to do an applique wall hanging using blind stitch as an outline?.
    I really love your videos, I've learned so much. I am so glad I discovered your channel tonight.

    When you digitize each section are the fill in stitches one selects ,the actual size on the screen?

    • @patchworkplus4903
      @patchworkplus4903  4 года назад

      Not on the screen where you are filling in the stitches - but you can change the size on the next screen and see it in actual size there.

    Your video tutorial is wonderful. What type of mouse do you use? I tried to connect a cordless mouse and a corded mouse. The cordless wasn't recognized at all. The corded mouse behaved so erratically - mostly moving only up and down - that it was worse than useless. Advice would be lovely; thank you.

      Sorry so long in getting back to you - I overlooked your comment - sorry! I have tried multiple types of mice and all but a couple worked fine. Generally the less complicated and cheaper the better! Wireless will not work. Brother sells a mouse that is guaranteed to work, but I suspect almost any low end corded mouse will be fine - just avoid those with lots of bells and whistles.

    Love this video but when I am setting up background with design fill it fills my whole design...what am I doing wrong?

    • @patchworkplus4903
      @patchworkplus4903  5 лет назад

      The fill patterns will fill any contiguous closed area. You will need to enclose any areas that you want to fill separately with a closed line. (i.e. rooster's body, feet, tail feathers, etc...) before you fill the background (chicken wire) around the design. If you go to fill what you think is a closed line (rooster's feather, etc) and the whole design area fills it means you have a hole in your outline. The best way to avoid this is to choose the closed line tool when drawing with the pencil.
