      @@HiddenItalyTravel What’s the best way to get back to Santa Lucia station from Murano? 🤩

    • @HiddenItalyTravel
      @HiddenItalyTravel  4 месяца назад

      @@rollie206 You could take the vaporetto number 3 that goes right to the train station. You can pick it up at a number of stops on Murano, but the stop that takes the least amount of time is the Murano Colonna since that's the jumping off point from the island that goes right to the train station.

      @@HiddenItalyTravel I've already forwarded it to several friends who are travelling to Italy this fall -- Particularly the part about using the PosteItaliane Post Mart ATM at Post Offices. I never knew those machines DIDN'T CHARGE THE CUSTOMER A FEE. I shall NOW start looking for them as I travel through Europe. Again: MANY THANKS.

    This is the best explanation on how to get from the Marco Polo airport to Venice. I know since I experienced riding in a water taxi (we booked ahead of time) and the vaporetto. This video was not available then. How i wish it were. I am now a subscriber!!Thank you and I will have to watch your Trieste video as we are headed that way next year!!!

      @HiddenItalyTravel I am going to share this video with the group which is going to Venice next year and then to Trieste after Venice to embark on a cruise. Any good tips on how to get to Trieste from Venice?

    • @HiddenItalyTravel
      @HiddenItalyTravel  Месяц назад +1

      @@susanmendoza2658 The best, and fastest way to get to Trieste from Venice is to take the high speed Frecciarossa train. it's a comfortable ride and gets you there in a couple of hours. My advice is to book around a month in advance though. Not only do seats fill up fast, but the price goes up the closer you get to your travel date.

    • @HiddenItalyTravel
      @HiddenItalyTravel  Месяц назад

      Thanks! You can generally get a taxi even that early as some wait for the scheduled flights arriving. However, you can call a taxi when you land and one will be there quickly if there are none available.

    Great Video! We are going to take the Alilaguna from Venice back to Marco Polo airport. I am planning to book a shared shuttle named GoOpti from Marco Polo to Trieste. Do you know where the shared shuttles are required to park at the airport? We are all in our late 70’s and don’t want to be lugging our luggage a long distance.

    • @HiddenItalyTravel
      @HiddenItalyTravel  6 дней назад

      I don't know where exactly they park, however, the airport is very small and as soon as you leave the arrivals gate, it's just a few steps to exit the airport. as soon as you walk out there are lots of taxis and hotel shuttles there so I would imagine they would be in that area. It is not a t all too much to walk. I'm talking less than 3 minutes from when you get out of the gate to get to the shuttles. Enjoy your trip!

      I have not used this company so I can't vouche for them personally but they offer an online booking platform which may help airportstaxitransfers.com/transportation/taxi/Venice-Transfers?Google&GoogleAds&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA57G5BhDUARIsACgCYnymsL1fG9kgm_pd-7eG3xBmFaozvrnjqSbS5fczlBQS6OqamOogPAkaAi5AEALw_wcB

    Where from arrivals do you go to get to the 🏧 atm you mentioned before you get your water taxi ?

    • @HiddenItalyTravel
      @HiddenItalyTravel  2 месяца назад +1

      As you come out of the arrivals area, take a left and look for the check in desks at the far end of the airport. You'll see it just before you go into the check in area. Also, there is an information desk there just ask them where the Postamat is.

      Thank you! Looks like my best, economically bet will be the water bus. The hotel rep said I will need to get off at the Rialto stop. Is that correct for the best form of transportation, to exclude the water taxi.

    • @HiddenItalyTravel
      @HiddenItalyTravel  2 месяца назад

      @@zee7130 If you have a lot of bags, definitely. If you take land transport it will only get you to Piazzale Roma. From there to Rialto you're looking at about a 30 to 40 minute walk or taking another vaporetto which will take roughly 30 minutes. In your shoes, I would take the Alilaguna from the airport.
