Knowledgeable, friendly, articulate, and more than easy on the eyes. You are who social media was created for! So happy I found your page, I look forward to your rise in fame.
Ciao Sebastian! We will be in Venice in September but are vegetarians (we do eat dairy but no meat or fish). Any local spots for vegetarians? I would love to see you do a video on how to eat in Italy as a vegetarian. I think many would be interested to hear recommendations from a local foodie such as yourself. Mille Grazie!
Ciao Jean, Although local venetian cuisine is integrally connected to seafood from the lagoon (they're built on water after all), you won't have a hard time finding vegetarian options at nearly all cafés and restaurants. Many cicchetti showcase Veneto cheeses and vegetables from San Erasmo. On menus you can focus on the Primi and Contorni sections to select some great salads, pasta dishes and vegetables. Hope that helps. Enjoy your trip!
I'll be spending 2 weeks vacation next week in Sicily starting in Palermo Agrigento, Sorrento, Rome Assisi, La Spezia, Florence and Venice. Thanks for the video.
Nice video. I really enjoy dining at Osteria alle Testiere, You should go and just to say you have been the Harry's Bar was an overpriced disappointment.
What about Antico pignolo, Do Forni, Al Conte Pescaor? they are good restaurant too, in the mid/top side, all 3 of them near each other and near San Marco's Square
Cicchetto is originally an excuse for drinking a glass of wine. Now with a disneylization of Venice is a solution not very expensive for a simple meal. Not a choice but necessary. Sadly funeral for an ancient way of life 😢
That's a fantastic question! Giuseppe Cipriani named after Harry Pickering, a wealthy American who loaned him the money to start the bar in 1931. He even named his son after him... italicised: Arrigo Cipriani.
We loved your recommendations! You made my visit with my dad so much better. Gracias Sebastian!
Once again a great video . We want classic venetian dishes pt2 .
Thanks! There’s more good stuff to come
Subbed - very underated channel!
Cheers! Glad you think so
Totally agree!!!

Thanks for the video! Just one comment: “Osteria alla rampa” should be “ Trattoria alla rampa” 😊
What about Antico pignolo, Do Forni, Al Conte Pescaor? they are good restaurant too, in the mid/top side, all 3 of them near each other and near San Marco's Square
Thanks for the tips! I'll be sure to check them out

So, why the name Harry's Bar? It seems to detract from the whole Venetian vibe/aesthetic.
