Hard pass! Not only is it one of the most inefficient EV on the market, it’s also quite unrefined for it’s price (plastics, rattles, squeaks, noisy ride) and conveys the wrong image to most people.
bought this car three weeks ago and sold it today 9/18. The car is terrible has a lot of issues one of them GMC never fixed for the past 28 years which is roof leaking. The dealer marked the price 55k over I thought GMC knew what they doing but I am telling u the car is really heavy battery is too big takes for ever to charge and dose not last as they say 300+ miles. This car sticker price is 104k. Think and do ur research before getting one. Called GMC trying to talk to them they said we can not do anything about it and the marked dealer price. And u can not sell it before 6 months. Guys it’s terrible not worth 50k.
You know what’s funny, the Car Stories video about Hummers when you said their original name was Humvee, the Hummer EV reminds me of that name, and it makes me call the Hummer EV’s Humvee’s, fun fact they are actually still making Hummers, but not for the public anymore, I think it’s just the H1 that they are only making now, but just for the Military, I actually got to drive a Hummer H1 once and Lemme tell you that it is actually so fun to drive, big vehicles like them are my cup of tea
Clearly this is a design winner. The only question left is will GM make a smaller cheaper electric Hummer that a few more people can afford. Because at their current prices, these Hummers are just toys for very rich.

The question I thought of as a rebuttal was, “Does gmc want to compete with the brands that already own the less expensive segments?” Think of Jeep and the ford bronco. Those vehicles own those segments in my opinion with the ford bronco raptor in a solid first place for under 80k.
I dont think ppl understand that the industry is not meant for u to buy/own one of these vehicles. U dont finance something like this. You lease it even if u can afford it. Never buy something like this. Even some celebrities lease. With that bein said, u can lease one for about 1k a month. Do ur research. Be smart. Eventually everyone will be leasing. Technology is out-growin salaries. One day ppl will be leasing used vehicles. U read it here first.

If this thing truly is > 9000 pounds (> 4 t), it is heavier than an asian elephant
