would you be for or against adding a Heat Exchanger? reason I ask is I have the chiller but I have a friend that tests and designs a/c systems for vehicles. He tells me I need to run a heat exchanger but I have heard it is better not to run one as the coolant will not cool down more with ambient air
the heat exchanger is a massive heater as you are passing a literal truck load of air through it per second and that air is significantly hotter than the fluid. If you retain a heat exchanger it must be placed on a bypass valve, which is both a waste of time and money.
@@09fatbobmike is it in C or F, as F is down to 0 c degrees basically at 33 F, so which is it ,after all your saying it 107 degrees F outside so what is the IAT temps as C or F ?
peak IAT under wide open throttle is 100% controlled by the intercooler pump flow rate and fluid volume stored in a reservoir tank. You have to keep in mind the chillers job is ONLY to make a volume of fluid cold, what you then do with that cold fluid is up to you and how well you utilize it. how high will the ic coolant temps get doing a rolling or dig pull id love to see those temps to see how high they climb and how fast they cool down
