I do this with mine but I can’t get all the sand off, is it vital you get every grain of sand off?

Thinking about ordering the Twin Air kit in the event that any dirt does get down in there, I can at least vacuum the airbox out.
Yes, some buddies of mine did that and like it. I just learned to live with stock, works fine.
@@wetlifesports That's what my plan was until I shined a flashlight down past the mesh and thought I saw some dirt but can't get it out with the screen in place. The stock setup was still really good with the Twin Air filters, I'm just too crazy paranoid lol

Why not just remove the screen?
It catches the sand. You can see the grains. And I'm sure they put it there for a reason.
