I have severe anxiety when flying, but still flew from Boston to Kauai,Oahu and the Big Island last September. I refused to let my fear take away my joy in life. Hoping to go back again next year for another month.
That's an awesome attitude to have my friend. We all have fears we have to overcome, and it sounds like you've decided not to let yours keep you from living your life! Thanks for watching!
The filming of this is just perfect to me, the clearness and colour so real life.
I'm glad you enjoyed it my friend!
@I am a Believer The Mandalorian Sea.
I usually use these videos as a background for work, but this particular video had me mesmerized, I couldn't stop watching that sunset.
I’m glad you enjoyed it my friend!
Stunning takeoff and capture of exhaust sounds. Whoever the PIC was taxiing the airplane really enjoyed reving it a couple times haha, must have been a heavy load. Loved every second, nice job!
It was a full flight, and with the 5+ hours back to LA, it probably had a decent load of fuel as well. Thanks for watching my friend!
For me, the highlight is night landing in LA! With all the surrounding cities/towns it's like a little country by the ocean with its endless lights below! But coming in from the ocean on a cargo ship at night, it's amazing too! You can see the reflection of the lights in the clouds like illuminating the sky before you see the shoreline shining in the darkness. Endless is the sky, deep is the ocean, great is La Califusa!
In this crazy time when we can't travel, I really enjoy your long full flight videos. When I'm working at my computer, it's great to have one of these videos playing in the background.
I’m glad you’re enjoying them my friend! I hope we’re all back in the skies soon!
Except when your microphone is on and you don’t realise 😂
Man I love that takeoff sound!
It's hard to beat, isn't it? Thanks for watching my friend!
🤗🤗
It must be a toga takeoff
That sound is what stopping me from traveling. I get panicked
Shane carmen I travel about 2-3 times. Year!!! The only reason I might not travel this yeah, is because if the pandemic. 😒
The ocean shows its deep blue and let us feel something great. Our mind fly in the calm sky, various clouds take us refreshed. Thanks.
Thanks for watching my friend!
The thrill of waiting at the gate is incredible. Flying is just something you have to experience in order to understand. The G-forces and the sounds of those turbines though. Music to my ears.
This video was awesome !! The scenery of the ocean after take off was amazing and the landing appeared smooth and just as beautiful!!! Great videos!!
Thanks my friend. This was a really pretty flight from start to finish.
The sunset too.
LA. What a beautiful sight it is, day or night. I encourage everyone who can, get up enjoy. The lower 48 has enough things to keep you and your families busy. Life is to precious and short, so get out there enjoy it.
They do indeed. The lower 48. I’m always struck when I hear someone from Europe float the stat around that 80% of Americans don’t have passports. And they use this as an example of how much “more traveled” they are then most Americans. And I often remind them that the United States is much bigger than their country. Regardless of where they are from in Europe. And traveling between the different states in the United States is a lot like traveling between the different countries in Europe. I know plenty of people who don’t have passports, but they have been to 30 or 40 different states. Which I would argue is being more traveled then someone who has been to six different countries in Europe.
This video is definitely a watch again plus I loved the video they’re amazing! Keep it up!
I'm am a terrible flyer. The anxiety of sitting on the taxiway in line to take off and hearing the other planes roar down the runway in front of us is terrifying yet exciting at the same time!!
At least you can overcome it and still fly. That's a big accomplishment in itself. A lot of people who have anxiety over flying won't even board an aircraft. Thanks for watching man!
The same feeling. I feel like taking off and the planes noises are the scariest parts.
if it makes you feel better i start to shake when the engines are starting, not in a sense of fear but a sense of pride
Why are you so terrified? They only crash once
The good o'l PHOG short runway 2 and a heavy A321 flaps 3 toga. Never ever gets old.
Thanks for watching my friend!
Best channel, they even have full flights.
Thanks my friend. New full flights are posted 3 times every week on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Love the 321, great wing view and sounds! thanks for sharing!
And thanks for watching my friend!
It's all about patience, and u executed it very nicely, well done!
Thanks my friend!
Nice plane! I took off from that airport many years ago before they had direct flights to the mainland lol. 😎✈
I wear good quality headphones and I love the sound of the engines starting and take off!
Thank you for sharing your flights! ✈
Flew N134AN from LAX-OGG back in July. Great video!
Thanks my friend! I'm glad yo enjoyed it! I hope you had a great flight!
I just love American Airlines A321-231
The camera quality (especially the fact it was shot on IPHONE!!!), the sounds, the sights, all FLAWLESS
People tend to underestimate phone cameras because, well, they’re in a phone. But IMO, there is no better small handheld camera then those in new Apple/Samsung phones. They’re really amazing. When people ask me why I spent $1400 on a phone. I tell them, I didn’t spend $1400 on a phone. I spent $1400 on an amazing camera that also happens to make phone calls haha.
@@sla31 That's amazing, and so true as an iPhone owner myself, haha! I loved the video!
Thats one impatient captain haha he couldn’t even wait for the plane to be leveled with the runway before taking off 🤣
narryok atc probably told him to because there was probably traffic on short final, so ATC told the captain to hurry up a little:)
Yeah it's very possible he was given takeoff clearance "without delay". Or he could've just really been ready to get home haha. Thanks for watching!
Most pilots have done that on the flights I’ve been on. It’s not uncommon
Yeah he did a "turn & burn". Very common; especially with airports that only have one runway in operation
I love flying so much that I enjoy videos about it, find it relaxing to be 30,000 feet up in the air even. ☺ I've sat in the same space that you did here before and I love it! Awesome leg space 😁
This seat, and the one on the other side, is in my opinion the best domestic economy seat American has on any of their aircraft. Thanks for watching my friend!
Amazing video, amazing sound! Hugs from Brazil :)
Thanks my friend. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Legend has it that somewhere out there, the spoilers are still raised on this aircraft..
Hahaha. Thanks for watching my friend!
My thoughts exactly!😂
Look at the ariloms
Ah shit here we go again
That landing was smoooth
Love the wing view! Keep up the great vids!
I’m glad you enjoyed it my friend! Thanks for watching!
I thank you for these videos because I really miss flying and I wish I could be back in the skies.
I'm glad you're enjoying them my friend.
Reading your message now in 2023... Your wish granted! You can get back in the skies already! And hey, no mask required...
Those kids are cute and well-behaved right behind you but it does remind me why I invested in a nice pair of noise-cancelling headphones.
Agreed haha.
Man, I love to fly.
Thanks for watching my friend!
I do to, but it’s pretty obvious why I’m taking a small break from it. 😡
Idk how you get that sound quality because it's so so good. It feels so real
There must be a reason for it, but it seems like the pilots forgot to put down the ground spoilers after landing. They pull into the gate and the ground spoilers are still up. Anyways, great video! I love the beautiful Haiwian beach departure.
Thanks my friend. I also don't know why the spoilers were never retracted. It could've been the pilots simply forgot, or it could've been a mechanical problem. We may never know. Thanks for watching!
That was one hell of a landing
I love the 757 next to you. :) Great video as always though.
A nice long 757-300. One of my favorite aircraft types. Thanks for watching my friend!
I love the 300 to death! Gotta love how long and skinny it is! Kinda like me..
When the pilot forgets to disarm the spoilers ;)
Either that or there was a problem. We may never know the exact reason. Thanks for man!
Passengers: What just happened to spoilers?
*Me* : Pilot really forget to take down Speedbrake Spoiler!
What a great landing.
min 7:55 Airbus A-330-200 from Hawaiian Airlines, The airline used the Boeing 717-200 In Spain the model is fly with Volotea
24:15 Look how beautiful that rainbow is 🤩🤩
this video made my day. good health to all guys
Thanks for watching my friend! Glad you enjoyed it!
its so nice see the lights 1:54:51
LAX is a beautiful city, day and night. Thanks for watching!
Really enjoy your flight videos and am looking forward to seeing this one as well. Have never flown from Hawaii to LA, but isn't that a 5 hour flight? This video is only 2 hours long.
Yes, full time spent in the air is listed in the video description. On this flight it was 4h 47m. I cut out large chunks of the cruise to make the video easier to digest. Thanks for watching!
I haven’t been on an ✈️ in almost 20 years. This year, in 24hrs, I will be taking my children on a 7-day vacation. Thanks to these videos, I'm prepared now. Thank you!✈️✨✈️✨4/3/21
I’m glad my videos are able to help you prepare! Thanks for watching.
@@sla31 Without you, I would not have boarded that plane. 💖✨ Thank You 😊
Somebody forgot to retract the spoilers after landing lol. The airport was probably congested so they forgot about them, or they needed to be checked by a ground crew. Nice video btw :D.
Either that or there was a problem. Thanks for watching my friend!
I personally love A321 because their flaps come out so quickly, which is so satisfiying, unlike the Embraer E190
E190 flaps are the WORST.
Your videos are really great
I'm glad you enjoy them my friend!
From the warm waters of the Hawaiian Islands to the bright lights of Los Angeles, what a contrast. Loved the night lighting effects at KLAX! By the way, have you invested in a decent pair of noise cancelling headphones for these trips, to protect your ears against the young ones, if you know what I mean? Another good presentation Bryce well done, I'm still going through your back catalogue LOL :-) Regards from Paul in the UK
Thanks Paul. I do have headphones, but they're not technically noise cancelling. I have a pair of Beats Solo 2 wireless headphones that I travel with. And if you're not familiar, the beats solo's are the large "over ear" headphones. They aren't the earbud type. Overall, I don't really mind the white noise associated with flying, but I always wear my headphones. From the moment I get though security until I get off my last flight. I do this for two reasons. First, I often times watch something one my old iPhone. Hence, I'm using them for the purpose they were actually designed for. But, second, and more importantly... If you have headphones on, people generally won't try to talk to you. I not trying to be rude to others, but I fly 95% of my flights by myself. Which means I am almost always seated next to someone I don't know. And what inevitably happens at least 50% of the time? That person wants to have a conversation with me for the next 4 hours. I don't object to getting to know new people and having conversations, but it kind of defeats the purpose of me "working" while I'm flying. If I'm talking to the person next to me for the whole flight, it doesn't make for a very good video. So, the headphones basically exempt me form having to deal with that. People see me with them on, and it has basically ended the problem of people trying to talk to me. And because they aren't noise cancelling headphones, and they are connected to my phone, it's seen as "acceptable" to wear them all the time. In the end, they do provide some noise cancelling effects, just because they go over my ears. So, I suppose they do kind of offer some protection form the engine noise. But, like I said, I really wear them as a signal to my seat mates that I'm not interested in a conversation past the usual "hellos" when they sit down. Since Covid, and blocked seats, this has been less of a problem.
Hi Bryce, perfectly understand my friend, it all sounds very logical bearing in mind what you are trying to achieve and I would do exactly the same thing! I suppose sitting behind the wings and engines for long periods, the headphones would provide some protection for your ears in that sense. Unfortunately for me though, at my age and having been through depression (work related) in the past, it's the screaming kids that bother me the most, I just can't seem to handle loud and sudden noise, hence my fondness for noise cancelling headphones. I know that you've just had your first child, congrats by the way (I had three back in the day,) so I hope this doesn't offend? Keep up the good work Bryce :-)
23:51 who could spot the rainbow?
I wondered who would point that out first. Thanks for watching!
Skylite Productions no problem buddy it was an amazing report
Hi I'm a kid but I'm making a trip report on Dublin Aitport AerLingus A330 300 In July

@@Dawid634 i have flown on the aer lingus a330 to dublin and to CDG, very cool plane there is great service too!
When I stayed at a condo in Lahaina Maui (on vacation) I briefly talked with one of the maintenance and ground keepers; a resident of the island. He asked where I lived. I quickly learned that he was looking forward to an upcoming vacation. I made a comment that he was lucky to live in such a beautiful place and how great it must be. I asked him what he did around the island while on vacation. He said that he looks forward to getting off the island. At the time that confused me. After thinking about it a little bit I think that I understood what he meant.
*My philosophical answer to this was it must be something like a kid being locked inside a candy store. Before too long he'll learn that too much of a good thing isn't so great*
Yeah, I've had several conversations with several people who lived on Hawaii. It's a 5+ hour flight to the west coast. It can become a bit claustrophobic leaving there, being so far away from the rest of the country. Thanks for watching my friend!
Eric Lozen I lived there for about 7 years. I always looked forward to my summer vacation home to Chicago. I missed family, but driving back to the airport to head back home to Maui felt awesome. It was a great place for me. Some people get island fever, but not me.
@@hutzman7664 Hello ~ American or United Airlines for your trips to the windy city?
Eric Lozen always flew AA. Was great when they had a direct flight.
One of the things that impresses me about all these Hawaiian flights is how much land appears undeveloped on the islands. I would expect there would be more since it's "paradise".
The more “developed” area is on the south side cause that’s where all the great beaches are!
Well, a big part of it is that most of that undeveloped land would be VERY expensive to develop. A lot of the Hawaiian landscape is not easy to get to. So, it might not be that people wouldn't want to live there. It's that people can't afford to develop it and live there. There are also big chunks of the Hawaiian land that is protected, either by the Hawaiian state government, or because it's part of a state or national park.
@Jess W Back up. I'm simply surprised that Paradise hasn't been more developed....like most other "Paradises". It's not easy to withstand developers these days.
I’m flying to Denver in 4 days so I watch these videos to help with my anxiety
I'm sure you'll have a great flight my friend. Like I said, I hope you have a good trip!
Skylite Productions thank you!

There were a lot of cool skies in this one, that's for sure. Thanks for watching my friend!
Nice video👍 flying same route on Delta next week.
Awesome my friend. I hope you have a good flight! I haven't looked, but I assume they use the 757-200 on that?
Love this channel especially the full inflight vireos 💙✈💜
I'm glad you're enjoying the uploads my friend!
Fantastic video ! Bisous de France !!
I don't think I could bear flying to LAX after spending time in Paradise.
Nice landing😃
So vivid nice video !
Thanks for watching my friend!
That little kid I keep hearing is sure a good boy, or girl.
They've been humming to themselves, just sitting.
I wonder if they have a game screen, or just good at keeping themselves busy.
Even during the rougher parts of the flight, they just seem to take it in stride. :)
I never really got a good look to see if boy or girl, but they did have the IFE screen in the seatback, but I don't think they had headphones. I also don't think they had any other electronic device. Well behaved compared to some of the children I see on planes now. Thank you for watching!
Shoulda tried to get a seat on the right... Good Video as always
If I’d been on the right side you would’ve been looking directly at the sun and a backlit wing for the entire flight back to LAX. It’s much more pleasant on the left side when traveling east. Thanks for watching my friend!
Very nice video, and good quality :)
Thanks my friend!
@@sla31 From the other side of the world :)
I flew to Hawaii last month (December) the ride was pretty smooth over the Pacific going and coming back. Tail Speed is no joke you feel that plane moving. It’s like whoooaaaa.
You must've gotten a good weather day. It's usually rougher during the winter months. This flight definitely was rough. Thanks for watching my friend!
Definitely like the embrier line as well . I think they are sharp looking .
Your seat was a really good choice for the legs. "Business Class" niveau 🤗
My favorite economy seat on any US airline is 23 or 25 A/F on American's A321's. Depends on American's configuration on the particular A321. Believe it or not, this seat isn't listed as a Main Cabin Extra seat.
Aloha! Nice video on 4K full flight... i would like to ask you what type of camera u are using, type and size of memory card to support the long 4K recording and stablization device if you have used...Thank You!!!
That's an easy question to answer because I use only one pice of equipment for my Inflight videos. I strive to have the best quality continent possible, but I also want it to be easy for me to get that content. I film everything on my Inflight videos with an iPhone 11 Pro with 256 GB of storage, at 4K 30 fps. Everything is original, and I use no aftermarket attachments or apps. Thanks for watching my friend!
this was made on my birthday
Thanks for watching my friend!
This is one of my favorite flights
I like cycling around the east loop of Maui
Kahului to Pukalani to Kula to backside to Hana to Paia and back to Kahului.
120 miles of hills.
So difficult so dangerous so beautiful.
You know it’s a good bike ride when u are
Crying praying and cussing at the same time
Sounds like a lot of work haha. Although I do enjoy mountain biking in the little free time I do have. Thanks for watching my friend.
There's a video of a turbulent approach and landing at OGG somewhere ;-) , which complements this nicely.
I'll have to search for that. Thanks for watching my friend!
Nice video! I have a question; did you use a window mount for your iphone? If so, what is the brand name?
I do not. I hold the camera by hand. There are several reasons why, but mainly because it's possible for the engine vibrations to transfer into the mount and then into the lens of the camera.
A321 is nice, but an a319 is much lighter and really makes you feel the accelaration on takeoff ;)
That's true. Thanks for watching my friend!
Seems the pilots forgot to aggressively punch the spoilers into their idle position after exiting the runway.
And given it was LA, we know for sure it wasn't because they needed de-icing on the next flight haha. Thanks for watching my friend!
Stuck spoilers - that's going to take some time to handle.
Yeah. I don't know the exact reason why they didn't lower. I suspect there could be multiple reasons why. But, there are few reasons that wouldn't require a mechanic to look at them. Thanks for watching my friend!
Wow! So short of a flight. Isn't it usually at least 4 hrs long?
The actual door to door flight time is in the description. I cut out a lot of the cruise portion of the flight.
Sometimes video aviation creators like skylite cut out the boring stuff with the power of editing
Nice clean window. What camera you use?
I use iPhones to film with. Currently I’m using the iPhone 11 Pro. I plan to upgrade to the 12 Pro once the new year rolls around. You know, so I can write it off on next years taxes haha.
I noticed the pilots didn’t lower the spoilers after the plane slowed down!
Yeah. I'm not sure why. It could've been several different reasons. Either way, it made for an interesting taxi. Thanks for watching my friend!
Could have a mechanical issue but they figured it out. They obviously had free time because they took care of the flaps.

Great Job pilots!!!
A lot of people do care about that haha. Especially when you're on a potentially 6-6.5 hour long flight. Just because people want to get there safely doesn't mean they can't also care about the service. Thanks for watching my friend!

2:00:21 that cargolux 747 stops in indianapolis, my city. Rare that we every get anything good. thej only one is the 747 from luxemberg-indy-la then la-indy-luxemberg
That's pretty cool. Enjoy the 747's while you can. They're getting harder to find, even cargo! Thanks for watching my friend!
Those spoilers didn't retract because of a hydraulic surge to the left wing during touch down which kept them up for the whole time. I am pretty sure the right wing spoilers were down and the aileron pointing downwards.
Very Good !
