This young man is the real deal as a player and teacher. Drummers do yourself a favor and get his lesson packs from his website. Best investment you can make on yourself, trust me. Thank you Carlin as always!
Thank you for giving back to the drum community. I like the way you simplify the exercise, explain the counting, and displayed the application. Thank you Collin. Continue to inspire! Blessings 🙏
This video has been more helpful in the week and a half that I’ve been studying it than the 6 1/2 months I have been reading from a book. You, my friend have yourself a customer. Thank you.
My guess is everyone wants to be uncomfortable and pushed. He makes everything so easy as long as you listen and apply yourself. Nothing cones easy. Nothing good anyhow.
@@carlinmuccularHey Carlin how are you doing bro I have a song that I would like you to do the drums I had email you but apparently u missed it so kindly lets have a chat and get it sorted.
Carlin outstanding player and educator. Great humor too The note about “ I meant to say 32nd notes was very funny. It’s nice to have confidence to the point that you don’t have to be perfect. I have been drumming for a long time. I love it for sure I will follow and share Take care
Thanks from Nairobi Kenya you just educated me on 8 note 16 note and 32 note now I have idea on the I did not understand when drummer say 32second 16 etc thanks very much
I joined your page 3 days ago and my bass drum has improved so much.. I still have a long way to go but I really appreciate your lessons please keep posting more videos.. myb play a track song then break everything down from the beat to the fills and chops all the details
Lol, Awesome! bruh bruh, I've listened to numerous drummers concerning technics, fills, etc. however, what you just did was unlocked the mystery as to why I could never get to the next level. You simplified it well. 1/4 note 4 beats, 16th note 6 beats and 32nd note 8 beat. Thanks my peeps this was a huge help, again you just helped me get off stuck.
Carlin, many thanks for your honesty & skill, nicely done! I'm always looking for ways to progress on our awesome instrument! What your offering is PROGRESS!!! Like what u had to say, too!
Love your channel! Probably watched you play “Thank You Lord” a thousand times in preparation for playing it at my church. Ha! What is on your floor Tom? Your drums always sound great.
Best (sorry to use the Term Gospel drummer "teacher" online) and your free youtube content has taught me way more than paid lessons I have had with a lot of big names gospel drummers out there. Your free content is simply Amazing! May God bless you and your family and broaden your horizon as you are not selfish to share, unlike others drummers who are afraid to share. They do not want less known/unknown drummers to play their chops, when in reality we all play each others chops just with different field, emotions and orchestration and finesse etc. Truth be known many of what we hear today being played are flow down from drummers of old!! Peace LNK
So it’s really a matter of training your self mentally and musically to differentiate the 16th note and the 16th note triplet ? I think im off time just a little bit with the counting 😅

That 16th note triplet, oh My, that's a fine yoruba groove there
Great teaching. What snare is that?
It’s by Welch Tuning Systems. Look them up on Instagram, and their website
Thanks!
I need Please flame chops
Question, how tight or loose is your kick pedal
It’s on the factory setting. I’m using a dw 3000 in this video. It’s medium. A 5 out of 10
Brutal
