- Hotfix 5 is getting rolled back. After a huge amount of the community sharing sentiments of the performance of the game being abysmal, Gray Zone has came out and in transparency shared what happened and steps to make sure this doesn't happen in the future. I appreciate the transparency and looking forward to avoiding mistakes like this in the future. Nobody's perfect so acknowledging a mistake is a huge portion of moving forward.
How many of you guys were waiting for a roll back before hopping back in?

Holy hell... They took accountability and apologized!? Devs NEVER do that. That alone justified the money spent on the game and the support given to them

Are we gonna ignore 4 useless updates t'ill today? What did they fixed or added wirh updated? Literally nothing the fucking raytracing is still at max and unable di be turned off making the game drop 20/30 fps for no reason, you aim and drop even more 30/40 fps 🫤👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
So far the one thing that can't be denied is that Madfinger listens and react pretty quick (as well as communicate to the community)...hope they keep this dedication which should payoff in the long run for the game's success.
hats off to the devs, MASSIVE respect guys come on, they are trying harder than any other devs I know

Very impressed all around with devs behaviors attention and listening. I still need to buy a new computer to improve my own experience, but that’s my problem, not theirs.

tbh it is hard to listen to performance issues when many people were constantly complaining about performance since day 1. it would be hard to sift through the genuine remarks. but hats off to them!
Wow that was fast, I thought I was going to have to take like a week off from the game considering how slow and stubborn most studios and companies are these days to wait for them to get it fixed.

Yeah I crashed 4 times but this is actually awesome great game hopefully this situation takes things into the right direction.
I just restarted steam and there was an update that I had download for the game, not sure if the roll back happened already but I think it has judging from how stable the game is.
The roll backs fixed my game. Hopefully, they get it right on the next update.
Everyone just needs to understand that they bought an Alpha/Beta product. You are part of a testing program to expose bugs and provide valuable information to the developers. You will lose your progress, you will lose your gear, you will crash. If you can't understand that and accept it, then stop playing and wait for the final release.
YESSSSS. I had great frames.... but my game would crash every hr or would completely freeze my PC to the point I had to use the power switch...

Exactly what i mean, these developers are trustable unlike anyone else. Don't get butt hurt if something goes wrong, the game is in alpha, progress requires sacrifices. You learn from mistakes and the game is is I good hands. We just news to wait.
Thank god. I couldn’t even play the game after that. Not sure how they couldn’t replicate it when a good chunk of the players seemed to have that problem. I’m far from being a game dev but couldn’t they just buy a system or 2 that’s on the low end of requirements or even slightly below and test it on that to ensure it will be decent for anything higher then that. Obviously with cpus there are so many different possible hardware combos it might not work for all but this seemed pretty widespread.
And everybody let's not forget this game is in Alpha it's going to have issues we're all going to have to kind of ride the train so relax everybody doesn't get a trophy in this situation but I was talking to a lot of the people when the mics were actually working after this latest patroller out and everybody else was getting very close to the same FPS and all of our games were running smooth but I will say everyone I talk to were not streaming

I think they pushed it out anyway, because they assumed it was only people with shitty specs who were gonna have issues. Thats why they sent out that form, asking about specs. Eventually, only people with 4090 Supers are gonna be able to play this game...lol
I’m playing at 4k and haven’t had a problem always got around 120 fps
And I don't understand the performance issues unless you guys are running at full 4K maxed out Graphics settings I just don't understand unless you guys have the newer motherboards that have the issue with the specific Intel CPUs I believe the 13 and 1400 series of the i7 and I-9 but my computer was built about 2 years ago now so it's not topping shit anymore and I'm getting pretty damn decent FPS at 2K so I don't understand it has to be something to do with Graphics drivers or something like that I know I had to roll back my graphics driver the last patch because I started having crashes after I updated my video driver and when I rolled back my video driver no more crashes I'll be honest rather than them try to worry about getting everybody 100 FPS because it's stupid and doesn't need to run it that amount of frames right now I would rather them work on the actual issues the AI programming or the fact that some of them seem to be Bulletproof or the fact that you can get one shot at by an AI 300 M away using iron sights what are the fact that a 12-gauge shotgun doesn't completely just murder AI in the starting town are -47 that should one shot a fully armored enemy without any issue but instead a shotgun while it is fun to use will get you killed

does not listen to the community when its ea ea is the perfect time to listen but they fucked up hard on that one. cant fix simple issues and are in denial that they made mistakes. lying about fixing an issue when its not fixed as they say then making excuses that its not their fault. then apologizing after a long time because you are in denial. they are not going to make it far if this is their attitude towards the people who actually likes and plays this game. i hope they hit the wall and understands what it is to actually prove what it takes to be good at making games. which most modern game companies has forgotten and just thinks about money. they have gotten a lot of funds from day one of the ea release and they should do better not try, that is a stupid dumb and stupid way to state. that is a scam mindset.

So it fixed the game quite a bit for people that don't stream I was getting no rubber banding the AI were reacting more realistic instead of Aimbot and the game just overall ran better but because of all the streamers getting bad FPS which I would like to know what your FPS is were because you guys will call 40 FPS bad and it's not but anyway because of all the streamers crying now it's back to rubber banding and bulshit AI I'm glad that that are listening to the community but at the same time I have a 3060 GPU running at 2K and I was getting 45 to 55 FPS and it was smooth as butter now I'm getting 55 to 60 FPS but I'm bouncing around like I'm tied to a rubber band and I'm getting one shot at by an AI that just absorbed an entire 60 round magazine of ammo which I'm sure has to do with the clipping issue with the rubber banding the AI it's not Computing that it's being hit because of the rubber band issue congratulations I'm glad you guys can you know record and take video streams and get your asses handed to you by bullshit AI but it screwed everybody else

they can rollback like they want... i love that game but after 90 hours i cant stand bots anymore... its total non sens and even after the rollback i got game crash like i never add one before...i'm done ill wait few years before testing it again...like they said someone from another place did the map for them.. they bought cheap AI pack they put them on the map without good setting... they see trought the bush.. they ear you when 200m away in their back.. they aimbot wall hack... its not funny just waiting the chopper.. waiting for bot to spawn... i'm done for now !!! they probably just dont know how to make a game and set it properly... just like NIKITA... ill not wait 7 year again for a fix...with all the money i lost few last year in game like that.. i'm about to make a demo of a game and ask 100$ for it.. yes i will lose my name but who care they make millions and dont have any problem with that.. why i should not do like them to get rich...
