hi is any thing special for works only with dvd not pen drive? i tried many tipes linux and dosent works i don't have another mac to do on opencore . im waiting the dvd from amazon to do the last chance
I rather like those Mac pro desktop computers, perhaps you could make a video of it operating with Linux Mint, I gave up using Windows 2 to 3 years ago.
Use bootcamp assistant in macOS to partition and prepare your drive, then install Windows to that specially created partition using a DVD with Windows on it. I'd recommend installing Windows 7 and upgrading that to Windows 10 and if you want to, to 11 using the steps in this tutorial. A clean install of Win10 might not work immediately, hence the suggestion to do it via Windows 7, which is supported by Apple.
Hello I am from Russia. I am recently I bought myself an Opel Vectra and decided to look on RUclips about this car. I came across your video that came out 8 years ago. And I wondered what happened to her now?
Hello, The Vectra I showed back then was bought in 2014 with 54000KM. I drove it until late 2017 when I traded it in for something a bit newer. I heard from the dealer that it was crashed into a tree in 2019 and written off. Very sad, I honestly wished I still had it. I still drive an Opel, but it’s a much newer 2020 Corsa F.
@@nelizmastr Thanks for the answer. It's sad what happened to your car, it's very good. Good luck with your new car and be careful on the roads). I do not know English well, I hope Google translated everything correctly)
@Tech for PC & Mac but I don't have a optical drive, when I got it the optical drive in the mac was broken I swapped it for a hdd lit and but a green 2tb from barra in there, but I have seen a lot of tutorials that do it successfully with the iso version, of windows instead of the USB version, i am going to try today to use unetbootin and make a bootable iso USB with win10.(instead of the normale windows usb key) Also u might know this too, i have a ssd in my windows machine, could I take the harddrive out of my mac, where the os x is stored and swapped with a working windows ssd?
@Tech for PC & Mac also would you be down to work on this together? I do see the USB with the windows on it it's just not booting? So when u press it next to "15 inch" it freezes and gets stuck on the selection(option + boot) screen?
Tengo una igual pero no sé cómo instalarle Windows tienes algún vídeo para seguir los pasos ? Help me please..
hola, tengo la misma duda, encontraste algo, que me puedas pasar?
@@arlyn2476 saludos! No, me recomendaron usar un disco SSD.
No lo he hecho todavía, pero creo que tiene sentido.

This will only work with a DVD, yes. Macs with optical drives can’t boot Windows or Linux from USB without modifications.
@@nelizmastr tks for reply i also post to you a comment in another video asking how cable do you used to plug in monitor tks so much

After the first phase it never went into the configuration phase. Just stuck at black screen
Got it figured out. Just had to unplug my usb drive. Thanks for the great video !!
Good to hear you figured it out and that you enjoyed the video!
How to install MacBook pro 2008 dual boot with windows

I may have to try it on mine, might be a chance to try Windows 11 since I run W10 on my pc
These steps should work for any Core 2 era machine (Mac or PC) or newer. I’m not a big fan of 11 yet but it performs reasonably well.
@@nelizmastr theoretically should work on amd FX too right?
@@SlowHardware yeah, even on Athlon II and Phenoms. They were all quite similar.

How did you get win 10 on it? I made a bootable usb via Microsoft with the tool, because it won't let me use bootcamp, can you show how you did it?
USB won’t work, you’ll need to burn a DVD with Windows 10 1809 or older, then update (and upgrade to go 11 if you want to).

@@nelizmastr bro I did it but won't boot fully
Hi,
Did you use Windows 10 1809 or older? I’ve found that the installer won’t work properly on anything newer.
