Ive spend so many nights walking home from work with no one else on the streets and just this playing in my headphones, it's an incredible piece of music, surreal.
A real pioneer in the music industry! DJ Krush got his very own special style of music that perfectly fits together with the culture full world of hip-hop and his own innovative aspects of down-tempo, trip-hop and electronica ideas! Keep it up Krush! Don't ever worrie about your age! Music is immortal, just like your compositions!
I live in Korea and let me tell you, when you blast this on the subway you feel you are part of the energy that makes Asia so techno-exotic. Trip-hop this good should be preserved for all future generations.
The part near the ending where Krush grabs his cap and bows before the audience always gives me goosebumps. Dunno, I think he's one of the nicest persons on earth. Anyhow, I should still state the obvious by saying that this is music at its best.
living back in Estonia, we had 2 great programs on local radio, who will play that kinda music. They will have 1 hour in a week, and I couldnt wait. First one name was - Park Luna (Sergei Shustrov was a host) every Monday at 10 pm. Other one - Transmission (Artur Tsavkilov ), every Thursday at 10 pm... I use to have hundreds tapes with them... Most of them we lost in Estonia... And it was early/mid 90's....
Everytime I hear this beat I feel like I almost want to cry. It's just that beautiful of a song, and the way Krush brings in those cuts, I can't explain enough. DJ Krush is one of my main influences for getting into making beats.
Thank you for watching this video, guys and gals! I stumbled upon this jewel on a local TV channel while randomly channelsurfing at 5 am in the morning. Immediately tried to find it online but it was not as easy to find back in 2006 as it is today (RUclips wasn't as big at that time, obviously). Finally found it on an old and trusty P2P network eMule and uploaded it right away on RUclips. Since then i've listened to this song and watched this video (video version is a little bit different) a gazzilion times and heard it live twice (if you have a chance to see DJ Krush live, don't miss it, just dont). I'm really glad this video is still here and alive and that you enjoy it so much! Listen to good music, spread the word and stuff! Kemuri!
Local Moscow TV, which mostly shows old tv shows and local news. They propably had a lot of free broadcasting slots, so they decided to roll a bunch of random music videos. Which makes it even more incredible and coincidental. I hope you understand why i just had to share this story with people who enjoyed this song so much over the years

Since 1997, i LOVE everything Krush releases! He is one of the greatest artist i know. And this is one of my all time favourite songs, the soundtrack of my life!!
I was looking up artists similar to Jack Dangers/Meatbeat manifesto, though while not quite similar. This is so smooth, atmospheric, well paced, stimulating, and fucking sweet. I regret not discovering this artist sooner. lol.
been listening to this since I was 14! im almost fucking 28! I won free tickets to see him after not being able to see his show in NYC. MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY TEENAGE YEARS AMAZING
Kemuri is the best DJ Krush's song ever. I've so much memories with it, listening this track in a repeat "beast" mode during travelling in 2004 (it was the Strictly Turntablized version btw). It was 12 years ago, but the alchemy is still the same, this is genius and mind blowing. Thanks for sharing this masterpiece ;)
One of the baddest DJ cuts ever made.. I absolutely love the video version where he showcases his dexterity and DJ skills. Him and Shadow are cut from the same cloth and are easily still two of the best DJ’s to ever bless the decks. God do I miss good hip hop.
I love this sound. When you put this music on, turn off all your lights and lean out of a window on a dark night. You think about your life, and you cannot worry about a thing. A perfect sound.
I'm not a huge fan of this kind of music but I acknowledge this track really draws my attention; it's a big deal to dive into the sharp and obscured vibe that keeps surrounding your ears. I feel mildly dizzy whilst listening to it but it helps me recover my energy and have fun as well.
Bass drop before bass drop was cool lol Caught me so off guard the first time. Wasn't expecting such a drop or any drop at all from DJ Krush. Nothing beats the first time I heard it.
i remember going out with my family to Moab. it's an international dark sky area, so you can see the entire night sky unfettered by light pollution. this song always reminds me of that experience. the whole universe above, and the cool, dark desert all around me.

This has aged extremely well. I was shocked when I read it was released in 1994! Shit goes so hard!

This is actually a remix that was released in 2006.
I met him after his show and got a photo in London yesterday… absolute legend

Doesnt get any better. One of the greatest songs ever composed. Mozart would bob his head to this joint. Much respect Krush.
Yeah, but they didn't listen to Beats back then. I don't even think mozart knew what a beat was they didn't like black people...
Kemuri is a Mode
A cyclic thematic
This never gets old. One of the best instrumental hip-hop tracks of all times.
Sounds like a smog-filled night with only neon lights bright enough to guide you through it
Modern noir
I'm on a DJ Krush, DJ Shadow and Blockhead marathon right now
STHbiggestfan me too mate
try amon tobin if you dont know/
I would add Portishead and DJ Muggs to the tour.
Listening to Amon Tobin - Permutation right now.. wow thanks for the tip haha.

Possibly one of the most underground music videos I ever seen. Nothing screams quality old school music like DJ Krush.

so it is from 2006? Wow =)
This track was on Strictly Turntablized album which was relased in 1994. So i guess the video was made around the same time.
Thanks for sharing!
This version is somewhat more laid back than the studio version floating around on the web.
