15 yrs ago, i worked starbucks and they had these cassette players which played very diverse genres of music. One of these was Acid Jazz, and so when I was making lattes for customers, I heard this song come up. Since then, I have a handful of DJ Krush albums. Big thanx for this upload...classic!
The song that led me to an endless journey to trip-hop,drum'n base, mellow etc. forms .Thanks to POWER FM İstanbul, on air during the years 1995-99... Üstad Can Tanca'ya teşekkürler!....
Yo the album this is taking from is DJ KRUSH,DJ KRUSH on Shadow Records his first album and what an album it is still fresh ...i"v got it on cd and vinyl
bomb diggity. love all of krush's stuff but not song quite does it like this one. if anyone knows of any other songs with a similar vibe and souly vocal, i would much appreciate recommendations
Such an amazing album. But my favorite song from Bonobo is the remix with Amon Tobin (another musician who I really love) called Scuba, that to me surpasses Bonobo's Scuba original track. And it is... orgasmic and truly cathartic.
Imagine people nowadays hearing this when we first did?
