That's funny, yesterday I was literally thinking to myself "I wonder when Shawn's going to upload the Pirates POV" and here it is! Shawn being a psychic mind reader confirmed? :O
To be honest, I don't like the combination of physical animatronics with video. The fact that they're mixed makes it all feel a bit inconsistent for me. To me, the magic of Disney dark rides has always been about the cleverness of the physical special effects; the first effect with the skeleton/Jack was by far the most impressive thing about this to my mind!
Sam'sTrains I like it, it makes the ride unique and different than the other ones, not to mention much more interesting to look at... and it’s far better than going on a 100% cgi ride
