Thank you for the kind words, Dylan! Just sharing what I hope will be useful for someone struggling with what I struggled with.

Man...great video and great point. I had a similar situation with all the music I had acquired since being saved (10.31.1974). It was thousands of items (Albums, cassettes, and CD's) and all gospel (metal, rap, pop, etc). Ended up donating it to a local missions store so they could sell them and put the money to work. It was hard to let go but, actually, not as hard as I thought it would be.

Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for your story! Any penny raised for the kingdom is seen by our Lord. Ah now I’m nostalgic for my old CD collection that I did the same-donated to Salvation Army!

Glad He helped you through that process.

Amen! And I hope this helps you too, if ever the time comes to let go.

I understand that attachment. I have two guitars that I would be hard pressed to get rid of. Nothing special about the guitars, a Washburn G8V (first guitar I bought with my own money) and a Kramer Ferrington (Christmas gift from my wife). But the sentimental attachment is what makes them irreplaceable. Nice that your guitar is still playable and it's just superficial damage that most people won't even notice.

Thanks for sharing your story. The instruments associated with the wife are the hardest to let go. I didn’t share this in the story, but I proposed to my wife with that guitar (that’s actually the main reason for the attachment)! People have started to notice the green humidity stains haha.

The nails and spear left their mark on our Lord, but it’s all part of the good news story. When instruments get damaged it can hurt bad, but it provides a backstory for them. You told the story well brother.

Thank you! I hadn’t connected the dots that way about scars witnessing to the reality of the story. Thanks for that!

You should probably contact hercules anyway because they probably have some kind of guarantee about paying for repairs if their hangar breaks and damages a guitar. Getting a new pickup ring, new tuners, and probably a refin on the bottom edge may all be in the realm of possibility.

Oh? That will be amazing if that happens! I certainly had to bear some costs in recommissioning the guitar. Thanks for the tip!

Oh my that’s nostalgia right there! I might dovetail the tutorial with implications for worship ministry musicians. I love that song!
