      Sorry not familiar with that model, but u could have some other problem triggering the MAP code - that is quite common.

    Hi. Thank you for the video tutorial. Got an I sight from the same. I have the engine light on and performed a diagnostics. It came back with P0100 mas air flow sensor malfunction. I own a clio 1.2 16v 75bhp 2004 model. May I ask what could be the issue and is it possible to buy the spares ?? Thank you in advance

      Air mass meter or wiring to it.

    Your map sensor wires look like they are going Straight to the ecu normally they go round the manifold loom and back to the ecu have you chopped them out and put them direct into the plug ?

    • @iofix

      I can't remember to be honest - no longer have the car. Cheers

      @@iofix no worries I’m having the same problems but changed map sensor for 2 other I have put in a different throttle body but think I must have a wiring fault on the manifold loom some days works fine others revs all over the place sometimes cuts out I’ve had the coil light glow other times engine management light some times the two stop lights 😬

    Can i test the MAP sensor by putting away the wire, what happen if i disconect it ?

  • @ЦветиславВикторов

    Hello! My engine idling high, the errors are P0638 and P0105. No engine light. I changed the MAP sensor and the throttle body is cleared. The problem still exits. When I remove the socket of the MAP sensor, the engine works very good, as expected. Of course, engine light on. When I put it again, the problem is the same. Do you know what could be the problem? Renault Clio 3, 2008, 1.2 16v 65hp.

      It needs to go through a proper diagnostic process - I don't think anyone is going to be able to tell u the answer based on an email I'm afraid.

    Can this problem cause the car to go in to limp mode. Basically what is happening, not always is when ever i step on the gas and go over 50 km/h the car slows down and keeps it at 50 and low rpm, and the squiggly line light comes on

    • @iofix
      @iofix  4 года назад

      Hi, yes it could be, I would say your first step should be to get a fault code reader on it to give yourself some good direction.

  • @Nordlicht05

    Have this code and another saved but no engine light. When the car gets really hot i mean autobahn SPEED hot ther comes a warning to check the ignition system and dont gives any power. After restarting the warning its all good if the car gets cool. When its still hot you can nearly bite in the steering wheel when pushing the accelerator too far. Feels like a fuelcut but without any warning

    • @iofix
      @iofix  4 года назад

      Sounds like it could be electrical resistance building up on a circuit somewhere as the engine gets hot and eventually causing something to fail. Or possibly head gasket??? Good luck with it anyway.

      @@iofix it is a tce and i think it could possibly the ignition coil.

    • @Nordlicht05
      @Nordlicht05 3 года назад

      @@armandokoshena5133 I am assuming it is the ignition coil. This model has one box for all cylinders on top of the motor. Until now this car was not getting really hot anymore so it runs normally. At the moment I do nothing about it.

    Hi what scan tool did you use on this car?
