    This was an absolute stunning tutorial, The best i've seen. What I loved the most was the back and forth between different scenarios or boxes to show how the changes you made impacted different areas and why they didnt in other. Thank You 🥰😀

      @@RAW-CAt Cheers mate, you were 100% right its super fun once you get a few hours under your belt. I've been able to modify a box i made today from a Vented to a 6th order just by playing around as you showed. Thanks again

    I think the default unit for VAS is m^3 and to change it to liters you have to click the text m^3 like you previously have done.

    Now following triticums improved port area calculator, the max air velocity should not exceed 30 m/s, much more than 17m/s. And thoughts on why the big difference?

      @@RAW-CAt thank you for the answer! Great videos btw. I'd love a Helix DSP.... any kind haha. Have an audio control dm-810, nowhere near as nice software-wise. However they're updating us to get parametric EQ and some other quality of life features this month! I can't wait!

    thank you, please I have a 30w, 8ohm speaker. that's the only 2 data I read on the emant. how I can calculate the air of my box (speaker) to be made using winISD

    • @RAW-CAt
      @RAW-CAt  11 месяцев назад

      You need to measure T/S parameters of that speaker. I have a video about that as well.

    I designed a box to 25Hz but to get the port noise down I selected the option to use 2 ports. Winisd says the ports need to be 69cm long, does this mean I need 2x 69cm long ports or is it 2x35cm ports? The length of the port doesnt change in Winisd based on the number of ports used so I dont know if I need the total length of all the ports combined to be what Winisd recommends or if they all need to be the full 69cm length.

    • @RAW-CAt
      @RAW-CAt  Год назад +2

      Whatever winisd tells you, you need EACH port to be that length. Yeah, better iption is to make a massive single port. Remember, the lower the tuning the bigger the port.

    Hi, I do not see the QTC within the 'Box' screen as you do?

    • @RAW-CAt
      @RAW-CAt  11 месяцев назад

      Not all box types have Qtc. Is it sealed? Do you have the latest WinISD version? It is an old program, so there are loads of differen versions floating around.

    should't you enter like 2 voicecoils ? and input the Re in series ?

    • @RAW-CAt
      @RAW-CAt  Год назад +1

      Sure you can, if you want to see the amp load or you want a better simulation of the max SPL, but purely for the frequency response it's doesn't mater.

    Why don’t you tell us about the group delay parameter?, this parameter determines how far the bass will lag behind the main sound.

    I have no idea why so many say "mil" when meaning millimeter. Mil is a millions of an inch.

      @@byrontaylor2378 my bad. It is s you say a thousands of an inch. Maybe it comes from "milli"inch (milli, micro.....)?
