[Update]: Someone brought to my attention what within the old version of Ancient Grimoire Mosaic Runeword (order) was still listed with Thul rune vs. Amn Rune, which they adjusted at the final 2.6 PTR. The update has been pushed, but you need to redownload the new version of your Ancient Grimoire to reflect this. You can find that here: github.com/d2-shadow/D2R-Ancient-Grimoire/releases/tag/v1.0
The mistake cost me an hour or so in the end, as I went ahead under the circumstances and used a map seed to generate a few mal runes in Lower Kurast to recover the lost Mal and Gul.

This is the most underrated QOL mod that everyone should have! Definitely a must have!! Super easy to “install” and use. Just gotta download the zip and extract the files to a mods folder in your game folder. I have been using this online for a long time and haven’t had any issues at all. This looks fantastic, is there anywhere to report an issue? On two different systems text is over lapping making things hard to read. I love the mod and would like to help improve it.

Some of the quality of life mods that are out there have been a life saver for me while doing my single player grail light pillar and loot filter specifically along with expanded stash this one may just end up being added to my mod list I just don't understand why blizzard restricts us to 4 stash tabs in single player to begin with

The worst mistake I have ever made on a runeword was to cube my enigma with town scroll + hel when I was on the phone. Thought I was repairing the armor :(

Just based on my knowledge of other players actively using online loot MPQs and they have been for WELL over a year and they have not been (8)'d.

Your example of making a mistake when creating a rune word is baked right into the Ancient Grimoire, since you still have Mosaic in the mod as Mal Gul Thul instead of Mal Gul Amn. Using Ancient Grimoire just lost me a Mal and Gul on my offline assassin.
Hey, Jwinder: Thanks for calling that out. In 2.6 PTR Blizzard originally had it as Thul, and they adjusted to Amn before launch. I've relayed this to Shadow as its his Mod not mine; I just helped partner on it and gave it exposure. Would have replaced/hooked you up with a Mal & Gul if online; sorry that happened friend. Worst case, you can also Hero Edit yourself a Mal & Gul given what happened as I certainly wouldn't consider that cheating considering you followed AG and it led you astray. Shadow overlooked the final adjustment on this one. He will make the fix.

Xhul!, Great to see you, my friend. This is just v1.0, and it will evolve most likely with other QoL. Think of it this way. This is basically a softcoded data mod that utilizes the JSON menu Blizzard put in place. JSON being data-based isn't actual code being injected. Whereas, your botting exploits tend to be actual injection of custom code physically adapting the baseline. This mod tool is basically just MPQ files if you will which are aesthetic overlays. So while technically there is always 'risk' on BNET, I know many in the Korean community who have openly been using these MPQ/JSON style mods since the release and still playing actively online today without getting banned to the Shadow Realm.
@@WarTh3ory Oh, is see, so blizzard's code is basically flexible enough to interpret multiple data structures in the files. Thanks for the clarification. On another topic, still enjoying D4 or what?
@@xhul2558 Right, they made data generally more accessible to "mod", but again the appropriate kosher softcoding vs. true injection manipulation. As far as D4, while I am not giving up on it, the Barb is still painfully slow to play, devs have had a handful of misfires, and the current trend-line isn't positive on the player-base using viewership from twitchtracker as a proxy. Time will tell - did you ever begin playing?
I think its conceivable if Blizz implemented some pseudo new content comparable to the terror zones in terms of scope or impact that I would switch from D4 to D2R.
Hopefully, we get more than a 2.8 maintenance patch for Season 5. Given all the issues and suspended trading right now in D4; they are very all hands on deck over there at the moment. Cheers, Ragnar.

Sad when you have played too much Diablo 2 that you have all the legacy runewords sets and uniques memorized.. entirely.... ugh... my youth lol I know every set and unique in diablo 2... as well as all 151 original pokemon... but i forgot my periodic table of elements... wtf... why couldnt the elements be named after diablo 2 items and pokemon T_T
The nice thing about the data-based mod is that it also has other valuable crafting information and beyond. We may add some elements to it eventually, but we wanted to start here.

FYI - The display is throw off when Large font mode is enabled in the game. Turn this off and the issue goes away.
