Hi Daniel - Indeed, but the cold enchanted spawn affix rate is low and only the Unique has Cold Enchantment (immunity) not the minions associated. I've rarely encountered them, especially 2x spawns in the same run. Doing gut-checks across resources they all seem to indicate a similar sentiment. As AT has no natural cold immunities it makes it a cold friendly area. Happy hunting, friend.

@@WarTh3ory It's no big issue and I have already found multiple sunder charms in just a week of returning to d2, deleting all prior characters and playing solo. A total of 4 fire ones I want to say and 1 perfect cold. The difference is truly tangible! On a side note it may just be crazy rng but it does feel like terror zone drops are a bit too good. I got the whole IK set in two days as an example. Not that it's an amazing set but there have been quite a few good items aside from those. Happy hunting to you too!

@@Daniel-rs4ll Sunders changed the game for sure! Happy to hear you are back and enjoying the experience. Fire & Cold are the most common in RNG drop rates so that isn't remotely surprising. The overall mechanic of Treasure Glass group upgrading was massive. Cheers!

The way NoDrop works is that they need to be present on the "Level" when spawned. There is a common misconception about "2 screens" but that is only related to experience gain. So for erxample, you spawn Andariel by yourself and then the other 7 players come in, she would be a P1 Spawn not a P8 spawn - makes sense? Think about Frigid Highlands, a large open field. You can have everyone sitting near the waypoint as you teleport (Taxi) and drop TPs, and they will all be P8 (if full game and all in Frigid) as that is a "level".

@@frankenstein3163 Monsters are spawned by Players in the game. So if it is P8, you will receive additional XP even if you are solo in a specific area. Now, if you are P8 in a game, and solo'ing an area, you will get a higher % of experience as it is not allocated across the party.

​@@WarTh3ory So basically in a player of 8 you will get more exp if you solo an area ? or is ther more in im in a party of 8 and solo a area ? I cheeked out a site called maxrol and it has an party size option and players size option in its exp calculator. I got a bit lost >_<

ilvl = item level determines # of sockets and that is what ultimately matters. When you go to Larzuk, he will hit the maximum sockets based on the item level. Whereas the Cube, assuming a non-superior item, will roll a random # of sockets. happy to help if you give me an examples of the items you have and where you found them.

@@WarTh3ory I'm wanting literally any polearm for my act 2 merc because I'm playing a sorceress. I'm in act 5 now (normal). I really don't care what item I give him, as long as it has insight (I find it very frustrating that iLvL is a hidden stat)

@@Abrogator91 Normal is more difficult to track ilvl in NM & Hell it is far easier since ilvl = mlvl = alvl. However, you need to account for Elites (Champs/Uniques) which add a +2 and +3 mlvl modifier which influences ilvl. But in NM & Hell, most polearms max at 5-6 sockets. Good news in normal is that any white polearm from Cows will yield 4 sockets at Larzuk. So if you are really desperate and want to play that hand you can do that. But I would recommed saving that Larzuk hole punch for rolling Spirit which you also can grab a Broad Sword, Long Sword, or Crystal Sword from Cows and it will also go 4 sockets.

@@Abrogator91 No, spirits go in swords and shields. Spirit > Insight in Progression - far more important as you can already get 4os polearms dropping in Nightmare organically. Ultimately your personal call. Also depends if you have the runes.

@@RNLafferty Very much so. However, I did roll a perfect 6/6/4 on my offline Hardcore Grail Sorc so that at a minimum, made up for the online horrible RnG.

You can drop Skillers, no problem. Also, what a Cube is used for - I do the same in my HC Holy Grail with an entire open Cube, which solves the problem.

Hey, Kosterix. A few important things. "You are 94 when you kill Hell Baal" 1) The avg. player is killing Hell Baal between 60 - 70; especially veterans and speed runners. 2) If playing online and with a group, in Softcore, many will get to Hell Baal in their 50's, and do this in around 2 hours. For us in Hardcore, we do this around upper level 50 or low 60's, and complete this in ~3 hours. 3) Even playing solo, and offline, using myself as an example in Hardcore, I am killing Baal in my 70's in Hell. TZs for Nightmare vs. TZs for Hell 1) Yes, this video is not a one-sized fits all, and was primarily focused on the race to 99 with majority of folks doing this online and in group play 2) If you need to down-throttle, and shift to Nightmare TZs you can certainly do so; but majority do not - especially those power (speed running) to 99 3) If you are playing online, and in group play, you are generally (typically) Chaos & Baaling from 60 to 93 assuming the current TZ option is unappealing; this is standard. From 94 onward, especially at 95, you now hit a maximum point of experience penalty dilution (in non-tz zones), and this is empirically why you should now exclusively be focusing on Hell TZs as the data showcased. 4) Many have empirically tested this and aligned that 94 is the target point, but you could begin TZs slightly earlier if you preferred. 5) If you are once again taking an offline solo play point of reference, there is value doing certain NM TZs (e.g., Chaos) where if you are around clvl 70 to clvl 80, yes, you can net more XP vs. /Players1 Non-TZ & TZ Hell Chaos, but this dramatically slows at clvl80. This is also assuming a perfect world scenario where you need the Chaos TZ to rotate accordingly which as we know is completely randomized. See example Chaos Data below for helpful context: NM TZ CS P8: XP per run clvl 70: 60,439,402 clvl 75: 47,406,993 clvl 80: 18,785,099 clvl 85: 1,177,443 Hell CS P1: XP per run clvl 70: 22,277,066 clvl 75: 17,999,071 clvl 80: 12,938,447 clvl 85: 7,095,266 Hell TZ CS P1: XP per run clvl 70: 27,772,852 clvl 75: 22,439,356 clvl 80: 16,130,270 clvl 85: 9,105,556 In the end, a handful of folks like RoneEye, and others who have made experience calculators all take a very similar approach to maximizing CBaals until shifting into TZs. The reason folks are hitting 99 in 3-6 days is because of this exact framework. Cheers, War

@@WarTh3ory this is why I rarely comment on such videos. Posters live in a bubble where everyone they know is a veteran speedrunner. I'm just a normal dude and play offline on a switch lite. I got one character halfway act 2 in hell (stumbled over a ber in maggot). It's just very exhausting. that said, I believe the numbers, that seem to suggest stop doing NM TZ beyond clvl 75 but when I take into account that everything around keeps melting nicely whereas every step in p1 hell is deadly, I don't regret doing TZ. And I found dwarf stars, stone of jordan just the same. Very different bubbles, I respect yours, just know that there are other skill levels 🙂

My comment was not meant to be condescending in anyway - I just wanted to provide more context in to my frame of reference. And I do agree with you per the data example that there are going to be instances where doing /P8 TZs in NM do make sense. In the end, it is all about what is your core objective: Experience or Item Hunting. From there, it is about Speed (Clearing Efficiency). If doing NM > Hell is more optimal based on your current setup, then 100% focus there until you increase your force multiplier. Once comfortable, you can safely transition. Hi, GM2. There is little need to account for calculator quest drops for a few reasons. Andariel is permanent "Quest Bugged," so you get that effect. Regarding Meph, Diablo, and Baal, it takes more time to "manually" influence a quest drop experience vs. efficiently executing and power farming. Note: Duriel had the same permanent glitch effect if you triggered it, but this was remedied but majority don't farm Duriel due to the # of picks and TP Scroll issues. In the long run, slowing down your potential runs with a loader or a friend attempting to manipulate quest drops won't benefit you much. Mainly, in the end, RnG is RnG. Quest drops are more of a bug, so the majority of calculators, including Nishi's, will not account for them as they are more of an outlier than the norm. --War
