PSA: I realized this after the fact watching the VOD, and as a result of my rushing, but the D2DRopDash Example of the data was incorrect in how I presented/intersected it. This was an honest oversight. At 3:15 when we get there, it is 9.33% to have the chance to choose a base from armo36, and then its 1.22% chance to select Serpentskin Armor. From there, you take the % chance for it to roll the unique variant, ~15.59% when with 100% MF. That then creates an intersection of 1.22% (x) 15.6% = .19% chance to roll Vipermagi. For the comparison to Hell, its .15% to roll unique or ultimately .19 vs. .15 - In the grand scheme, they are close, but if you really wanted to Target Farm, you could focus on NM Andariel who also won't be as difficult to kill with less HP and damage output. The fundamental remains that Nightmare, due to a lower TC cap, is optimal for farming for Viper vs. Hell with an expanded TC table. Thanks! War
I love actually finding one of these on a caster playthrough right when your character can use it. It's a nice power boost from just 1 item. I've got 3 of these in my HC stash plus 1 on a sorc and 1 on a necro looking forward to you covering HOZ in this series. I would think the best place would be Hell Andy or Meph but honestly that last 2 I have found have been in NM Terror Zones. My HC one I found in NM TZ Underground Passage but i ended up RIP'ing with it on the pally I made. As soon as i find another I'm starting a new pally.

First time for me was in Blood Moor off a champion pack in Hell difficulty. Now, just recently, one dropped with a perfect all res 35 in world stone keep in Hell difficulty. It took nearly 4 years for this to happen.

Andariel is the primary, but Mephisto is not very far behind. If your preference was to hunt an expanded TC table you aren’t going to necessarily hurt yourself if you focused on Meph!
