He didn’t make Tahri first of all. Tahri is made in either Pure-ghee or Sarson (mustard) oil. 2) you don’t add garlic but a large amounts of fresh chopped ginger. You also add 1/2 T spoon of Turmeric as well as 1/2-1 tsp of GARAM Masala. You don’t add Saunf or whole masalas. Adding tomatoe 🍅 will make it yumm but little soggy, so you can skip it. We eat it with Red Mirch 🌶 ka achar, papad, raita. Also don’t forget to add a ton on ghee on top while serving. 😋😋
In veg pulao we add vegitables, dry fruits and a good amount of sugar which makes the dish sweet and in Tahari you can see that we add only vegetables not sugar and dry fruits.

After playing holi everyone felt tired so make tahiri because it is simple , tasty and takes little time.

In no restaurant I have ever been asked about how much salt i would like. Even at my home, my wife or my cook has never asked me about how much salt I would like, before cooking any dish.
