Why fixing a bedtime is so important

  • The key to good sleep - Fixed bedtime and wakeup time everyday
    Do you find that your kid is getting sick often or is moody or cranky quite a bit? Well, all she needs to do is develop a good sleep hygiene.
    Essentially, habits that lead to good sleep. And the most important of those habits is to have a fixed time to go to sleep and wake up on most days of the week, if not all.
    What’s the right time to go to bed?
    Between 8 pm -9.30 pm is ideal as this allows for optimum sleep
    Teenagers may extend it to 10.30pm but not later
    Practice waking up at the same time every morning
    If your child sleeps much longer than usual on weekends, know that she is sleep deprived
    Remember that you can’t make up for one night’s sleep by sleeping too much next day.
    Overall that sleepover is not really a cool idea. Restrict it to once or twice a year.
    Why is sleep important?
    It helps protect from all NCDs - obesity, diabetes, fatty liver, etc.
    Improves academic performance and creativity
    Reduces stress and anxiety in teenagers
    Supports growth and strengthens immune response
    Improves memory and deletes all that is unnecessary
    Improves EQ and all mental health issues like ADHD
    Happy sleeping.

    Thanks Rujuta ❤ Please make a video on adults and old people also because the error is starting with them people are just glued to mobiles and other gadgets difficult to discipline children as they follow what the elders do.

    Hello Rujuta, You have so many followers and viewers. I have a request. Indian citizens are planning domestic and international holidays during summer vacations. I know that its hot and holiday is a required reprieve especially for children. Please request them to not be complacent but to caste their votes before they leave! Thank you

    Hi Though I have PCOS, all dairy products, milk, yogurt, whey protein powder seem to suit my body completely and I have no issues with them so can I continue to keep dairy in my daily diet? Also, what about tofu?
