Visually, on our end, this looks like a movie set. It comes off looking so cool! And I am not even a Star Wars fan. It think it’s ridiculous in this day and age to pay this much for a 2 day experience. But there are people out there that are doing it so what do I know 🤷🏻♀️ You both looked great, thanks for sharing your experience with us.

I feel like it is important to state over and over again that the price isn't just for the room. It is an mostly inclusive, immersive, interactive, live role-playing, live improve theater, escape room, "murder mystery style" experience. I feel like the high price point is unneccearily prohibitively expensive to a portion of the audience, but you can see your money at work. Perhaps a 15-20% price cut would be appropriate once the initial buzz dies down so that more people can afford to go experience this marvel. As for the grittiness of the Star War universe? That is an unfair bias. George Lucas's "used universe" really only applied to the criminal underworld, the working class worlds like Tatooine and the Rebel Alliance, basicalky all the organizations that live under the heel of the Empire. On the other hand, Bespin is clean and immaculate, and so are most imperial installations. Even the Rebel alliace's "Home One" Mon Calamari ships are pretty clean. It would not make sense for a luxury star cruiser to be dirty and run down.
You're right, I feel like it should be more gritty. As an original trilogy fan, it may not be for me. It feels like it could be any sci-fi spaceship; like if you just changed the characters, it could be the Starship Enterprise. I think it would be cool if it was more like a bigger, Jabba's Barge! But that may be too gritty for some, lol.

I know there's a lot of negativity about the Starcruiser as I have issues with it as well but I still think it looks amazing cause I'm all for immersion. I really really really want to experience this myself but even if and when Disney starts to lower the price it's going to be years from now.

Very much so reminds me of a cruise ship with the room sizing. Interesting concept to make a cruise experience on land/space lol. I like what you mentioned about the original trilogy having your heart. It all seems Star Wars adjacent and not quite the Star Wars I would care to see. I’m sure many others will enjoy tho!

The only way I’d ever be able to go is for sure going with a group of 5 to split it all. But the experience does look worth it. I’m also much more attached to the older original Star Wars so I do wish it was more catered to that era but even despite that it looks incredible. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

I've already made up my mind that I'll eventually go to Galactic Starcruiser someday and these videos just get me excited for that day to come :) Would you guys do an active Patreon or that "buy me a churro" thing I see other Disney parks IGers people do? I think we can safely say that aside from the price, Disney pulled it off and exceeded expectations despite the ruthless campaign by detractors and anti-sequel trilogy individuals to sabotage this. It's not perfect and will definitely need a few tweaks here and there. But I think we can all breath a General Ackbar sigh of relief. I wonder if they will eventually allow people to bring their own Savi's Workshop lightsabers to lightsaber training. I hope they add more characters to interact with and tweak the storyline around just enough to feature characters from different Star Wars eras. Imagine meeting Dinn Djarin and Grogu or Ahsoka Tano and Cad Bane as seen in The Mandolorian.

Most of the stuff I've seen so far are people in such a rush to experience everything, that we mostly just get a play by play. This is probably my favorite of these I've watched so far. Great job!
I’m an OT and prequel fan. While I don’t expect to have Luke, Han, and Leila walk around, if Rey and Chewy are there you could have R2 and C-3PO be there too, to satisfy the OT fans. I just feel like it’s worth the money that you pay if you involve more people to stay in that small standard room. 5 people and one bathroom for 5k. May the force be with you…lol. If you think of it that way it’s not bad. If I did this though, I need to hug R2 and have a room for just me and the hubby and we can’t afford that. Plus it’s not really two full days. This is the first vlog where time seemed to be an issue, and the issue of cost was brought up.

If you think of it that way it’s not bad. If I did this though, I need to hug R2 and have a room for just me and the hubby and we can’t afford that. Plus it’s not really two full days. This is the first vlog where time seemed to be an issue, and the issue of cost was brought up.
