Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser One Year Later - A LOT Has Changed!

We returned to the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser just over a year since the maiden voyage to see what had changed. Kitra will be transformed into a Star Wars alien in the Image Design experience, in Sublight Lounge we will try the Krayt Reactor, a $79 Dragonfruit Margarita that is an experience for four passengers, and more! In addition to all the new stuff, we got to stay this time in the Grand Captains Suite cabin and experience the Captains Table at dinner. And there is a ton of stuff that we see and do that we’ve not seen before on our previous voyages including Kitra’s special force encounter with a Saja in the Climate Simulator. And we’ll have some fun with a big group of our friends and the biggest Star Wars fans in the galaxy who are on this special voyage celebrating May the 4th in space!

Definitely not crying during Kitra interacting with the saja near the rock garden. They were right, Peter and Kitra are special and their ordinary adventures bring me so much joy!

@@OrdinaryAdventures He was on my voyage and he was incredible! We formed an incredible bond with him and it was so sad to say goodbye to him (I may have shed a tear). I am so sad it is closing, it was truly the best experience I have ever had in my life.
He is a special person....he really has a gift....not many people can have that kind of organic connection. That was amazing, he was AMAZING!!😢

Agreed. The castmembers at this experience are some of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. And that isn’t just the characters but all of the halycon staff
@@OrdinaryAdventures I’m friends with the cast member who controls the Astromech. He said Disney is offering them other roles, and is going to attempt to incorporate their characters into Black Spire Outpost. But yeah it is a shame, it unfortunately was doomed from the start given the price tag.

The climate simulator moment really made our trip
Very interesting to see different actors portrayals of each character. This version of Raith had such a different energy its almost like a separate character
Totally. He normally plays Lt Croy. And funny enough our original Raith was the Croy on this voyage. It’s interesting to see how different the characters are under different actors
I ended up watching this after the announcement about the Starcruiser closing. Having watched all your Halcyon videos and getting to go to the Starcruiser, I am really getting all the feels with this video. Thank you for all the Starcruiser videos and for encouraging my fiancee and I to go. It was over the top expensive, but it was something, as huge Star Wars fans, we will remember forever.

That rock garden was so special…from Kitra building rock stacks with the storm troopers to Saja giving a real emotional moment. He is so awesome. Talk about charisma.

My heaaaart! The Saja cast member almost made me cry just talking about himself and then even more so when he told Kitra how powerful she is. My younger sister overheard the video and just randomly shouted “I AM POWERFUUUUL!” after he said it to Kitra. So so sweet. I loved the stormtroopers too hahaha. Just a comedic toddler duo. Also watching a circle of adults freaking out over space bonbons is just ~chef’s kiss~

I absolutely love how the other passengers have effectively made this an entirely different and wonderful experience. The way this resort has become the Star Wars mega-fan hub for the 30+ year old crowd is just the best. The friendliness, openness, and love that is nerd culture never ceases to make my heart swell. Kitra, I'm a 43 year old dude, and I'm crying right here along with ya!

That's what it should be. More like a renn faire with drinking, slumming, etc. Looks way better than initial vlog videos. Less story, more exploring.
I kind of love that those first order troopers were just dudes that wanted some time off of work, adds levels to the "street level" of Star Wars in a way.

That was a great moment in the climate chamber with the Stormtroopers. I was impressed with their dialogue, and the way the one trooper turned around when the Captain came in was hilarious.

Every cast member who works on this is amazingly dedicated to the guest experience.
I hope they repurpose the building as a star wars Hotel rather than closing it completely.

Kitra, I know how you felt when you had your moment with the Force. Just before the pandemic, my mom and I were on Batuu at night and rain had emptied the area. My mom just lost a gift card when Rey appeared. I told Rey we had a problem and Rey told me to always remember I'm not alone and to trust the Force. I kid you not: just after Rey left, my mom found the gift card! And Rey's words really helped me during the pandemic.

It’s a shame Disney was never able to figure out a way to market or price the Starcruiser to create enough guest demand. It was truly a concept we have never seen before and might never see again, and Disney struggled to even explain what it was to potential guests.
We are very grateful to have been fortunate enough to experience it. I wish everyone could have. We made so many friends along the way. I hope the castmembers and crew find new positions elsewhere in the galaxy -They made this place really special.

I love seeing adults who haven't forgotten their sense of play! So many people grow up and forget how to just play the way they did as children. I'm dying to go on the Starcruiser someday, and as I've told you before, I'm not even especially into Star Wars!

SO SO GLAD you both got to experience the Grand Captian's suite as that is the most expensive room but holds up to 8 people ...So another once in a LIFETIME memory for you both now it's been announced it's closing such a shame it's closing down as I have mentioned in previous comments on Disney vids *especially star cruiser never been to the U.S and one of my dreams/bucket list to do it and Disney Starcruiser was one of those once in a lifetime bucket list items when i could afford it ..sadly now that's not gonna happen ...IF you have another voyage booked before it closes down Kitra and Peter could be the last chance to buy some of those items you liked in the starcruiser store that isn't available in galaxies edge! ( will be collector's items in yrs to come so will have to look past the high prices for some of the items and look at it as more of an investment if you get my drift ?) Bright suns to both of you 😘😘😉😉 ...P.S watching all your videos of the Galactic cruise of all the cast members I still think the original 1st order captain cast member on opening knocked it out of the ballpark he was epic! just the right balance of mean, arogance and slightly camp lol but he played the role exceptionally well! , He got the character role down to a T! 😉😉

I just wrapped up Jenny Nicholson's video about the Galactic Starcruiser and noticed this footage in passing! Thanks to some comments online about a specific Force interaction, I wanted to see it in full and... honestly, I'm so amazed.
Tyzr was his name? That was one hell of a moment. I can't see how any fan like Kitra would not be able to tear up at such a powerful moment like that. I'm not the biggest SW fan ever, but I would be top dollar that for anyone that grew up a fan and invested heavily into it, that Force interaction would be such a huge payoff.
The individual cast members who worked there like Tyzr truly made that place much more than the sum of its parts, guaranteed.
His Anne was Tycer I think is how you spell it. He was amazing just like many of the performers in the Starcruiser.

@@OrdinaryAdventures You missed Adam the Woo's first and only time by a day. Honestly the concept works but not as a year round thing. Should have May set of sailing of DCL with Star Cruiser ideas and keep it special but more reasonable for the price.

The problem was that it was too expensive. Not sure it was worth paying $6000 for 2 night. Disney would rather shut it down then lowering the price. How sad.
Problem is they couldn’t lower the price much without making extreme cuts to the technology of staffing.
Spotted myself and my group in a few shots here and there! There really is so much to see and do on the Halcyon! We missed so much that we're definitely going to have to go back!
