Jordan’s First Female Taxi Driver - Sabah Al Silawi

Sabah Al Silawi also know as Um Souhaib, is crashing through stereotypes in Jordan.
The 65-year-old drives a 2014 Mitsubishi along the Ar-Ramtha to Amman route. In a role, many still don't recognise women performing but she has little interest in listening to the skeptics. She also trained as a mechanic, so nothing is going to slow her down on her journey to inspire other women.
She has broken the mold in Jordan, she continues to be a popular driver in the region, and as a widow allowed herself to live a dignified life for her family.
