Facebook needs to fix this - at least give people a way to shut stuff like this down right away. They've been lazy about this for decades.

FB did nothing, sent me a couple of canned replies. I found a site on FB in which young people in an east coast southern state were being taught how to shoot guns. The ages of the young people appeared to be around 14 to 25. Although there was no so called hate talk, the scenario of one video after another claiming to teach self defence with martial arts and target hand gun, rifle practice.(see Survival Sisters ) was alarming.

These tech companies fired most of their staff and left automated systems to do all of the work. While I can understand the huge burden that comes from policing a site the size of something like facebook, youtube, twitter, etc, there still needs to be people in the loop somewhere. I have had both facebook and youtube censor me in objectively absurd ways and without any sort of recourse or way to disagree with it. Facebook at least lets a person go through the motion and pretend as if we have some sort of recourse but on youtube comments just disappear. I stopped using facebook and I'm really close to not using youtube any more because of it. I'm probably one more disappearing youtube comment away from canceling my subscription and not using the site any more.

I disagree, a multi-billion dollar company that uses account holders as advertising audiences should be able to offer live customer support. I wasn’t hacked, but I hadn’t logged in for months and their algorithm flagged me as a potential risk. It verified my password as being correct, but still forced a verification protocol that randomly selected two people from my friend’s list. One of which, had passed away years prior, the other I hadn’t spoken to for years and was unable to receive a reply. Also, most hackers are experts at security exploits, so you’re only presuming this man was uninformed or a careless with his personal information.

@@TroyBrophySo Facebook can profit from having 3B active “users” monthly, but when it comes to providing basic security and customer service for said 3B active “users,” that’s just too expensive? Got it. The only reason Facebook can get away with this is because of lack of competition.
