O boy! I'm going to miss this extraordinary, beautiful gift God gave us in Walter Arties. We all grew up in the 70 through to 2000s listening to this beautiful voice. 😍 So sad to see him go.
Yesss Claudette!! I was SO sad to see him go too, almost to the point where I felt like I was losing a close family member. His voice was a beautiful staple in my house and family for many years (and will always be)! ❤
I recall rehearsing with a choir at University sda church in LA, circa1970 or 1971. I was in the basses and Walter was behind us singing all the parts,(satb). The lady conducting was acting impatient with Walter. But he persisted anyway. He was having a grand time showing his ability and we all loved it!.
The original key was D I think.. in recent years I think it’s been D flat. That performance was in C and it seems a new arrangement as well.. Those cats have keen ears man!!

It’s actually Armand “Hops” Hutton, sung Bass for Naturally 7 for a while and is a Grammy-Nominated Arranger too!
