I had a similar experience to Taylor. One of the first times I got shitfaced drunk was off a bottle of Bacardi 151. Learned my lesson.
My first drink was Buffalo trace I stole out of my grandma’s cabinet, it was so nasty

It heats it up internally so it doesnt have to stay over the fire as long, it stays juicy without losing the char broil flavor. You can do this for pan frying as well, if you are baking it then don't bother since its gonna be in there for an hour anyway.

I get headaches really easily if I dont drink water in between beers. Also, pineapple juice is great for rehydrating between or after drinks. I havent had a real hangover in such a long time bc I just drink IPAs. Though if you drink on them too late and dont adequately rehydrate and find some food before bed, you will wake up with a headache. But nothing compared to when I would drink hard liquor. That shit would waste a whole day the next day bc of the hangover as well as the crazy anxiety Id get from the sugar content.
